AirMapp & Serial Kombi present "RESURRECTION", a short movie about the found and the rescue of my 1955 panelvan. It was abandonned deep in a french alps valley since at least 40 years and we pulled it out of the forest in september 2016 by "restoring" it on site and driving it down the mountain !

A MECHANIC has managed to transform a 1970’s VW camper into the one of the world’s wackiest race cars by putting it on its side. Jeff Bloch, 44 aka Speedycop has made a name for himself for his outlandish race car builds which, include an upside down Chevrolet Camaro and a plane that was converted into a street legal vehicle. The veteran cop of 21 years took just five weeks to create the car which he has dubbed the, Trippy Tippy Hippy Van.

Volkswagen Polo
The Volkswagen Polo (pronounced [ˈfɔlksˌvaːgən ˈpoːloː]) is a supermini car produced by the German manufacturer Volkswagen since 1975. It is sold in Europe and other markets worldwide in hatchback, sedan and estate variants.The Polo has been produced in five generations with intermittent facelifts. Related Volkswagen Group models include the Škoda Fabia, SEAT Ibiza and Audi A1.
The Volkswagen Polo won the 2010 World Car of the Year.
History
As of 2014, there have been five separate generations of the Polo, usually identified by a "Series" or "Mark" number.
Some generations were facelifted mid way through production, with the updated versions known unofficially by an addition of the letter F to the mark number, e.g. Mark IIF. Some press and enthusiasts consider the facelifts to be separate models and hence have used the unofficial designations Polo Mark 1 to Mark 7 for previous generations. Each model of Polo is also identified by a two or three character Volkswagen Group Typ number. Official VW Polo history describes Mark I to Mark IV using either Roman numerals or Arabic numerals, with facelifted variants known as "Phase II" models.

RESURRECTION - Rescue of a VW 1955 panelvan - Forest find !
AirMapp & Serial Kombi present "RESURRECTION", a short movie about the found and the rescue of my 1955 panelvan. It was abandonned deep in a french alps valley since at least 40 years and we pulled it out of the forest in september 2016 by "restoring" it on site and driving it down the mountain ! A MECHANIC has managed to transform a 1970’s VW camper into the one of the world’s wackiest race cars by putting it on its side. Jeff Bloch, 44 aka Speedycop has made a name for himself for his outlandish race car builds which, include an upside down Chevrolet Camaro and a plane that was converted into a street legal vehicle. The veteran cop of 21 years took just five weeks to create the car which he has dubbed the, Trippy Tippy Hippy Van. Tapi berbeda dengan rival Jepangnya, Polo menggunakan mesin mungil plus turbo. Alhasil dari mesin 1.200 cc dihasilkan tenaga setara mesin 1.500 cc. Teknologi dan fiturya juga canggih, dalam keadaan standar ia sudah dilengkapi stability control, audio terintegrasi serta transmisi 7-speed dual clutch.
