Noland is originally from Independence, Missouri. She majored in Religious Studies at Rockhurst University, then worked as a production manager for a New Delhi clothing company in 2006. On returning to Kansas City, aged 23, Noland opened a boutique in the Crossroads, Kansas City, called Peggy Noland Kansas City. She plans to open in another location in Berlin in 2010.

The Kansas City metropolitan area is a 14-county metropolitan area anchored by Kansas City, Missouri that straddles the border between the U.S. states of Missouri and Kansas. With a population of 2,393,623, it ranks as the second largest metropolitan area with its core in Missouri (after Greater St. Louis) and has a population in Kansas larger than the Wichita metropolitan area. Alongside Kansas City, the area includes a number of other cities and suburbs, the largest being Overland Park, Kansas; Kansas City, Kansas; and Independence, Missouri; all over 100,000 in population. The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) serves as the Council of Governments and the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the area.
The larger Kansas City Metropolitan Area as seen on a map can be visualized roughly as four quadrants:
The northeast quadrant of the map is locally referred to as "north of the river" or "the Northland". It includes parts of Clay County, Missouri including North Kansas City, Missouri. North Kansas City is bounded by a bend in the Missouri River that defines a border between Wyandotte County, Kansas and Clay County, Missouri running approximately North-South and a border between North Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Missouri running approximately East-West. The sharpest part of the river bend forms a peninsula containing the Kansas City Downtown Airport.

Kathleen Hanna (born November 12, 1968) is an American musician, feminist activist, and punk zine writer. In the early-to mid-1990s she was the lead singer of feminist punk band Bikini Kill, before fronting Le Tigre in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 1998, Hanna released a lo-fi solo album under the name Julie Ruin and since 2010 has been working on a project called The Julie Ruin.
A documentary film about Hanna was released in 2013 by director Sini Anderson, titled The Punk Singer, detailing Hanna's life and career, as well as revealing her years-long battle with Lyme disease. Hanna is married to Adam Horovitz of the Beastie Boys.
Born in Portland, Oregon in 1968, Hanna moved with her family to Calverton, Maryland in 1971. As Hanna's father changed occupations, the family moved several more times. Hanna's parents divorced, and she returned to Portland where she attended high school.
Hanna first became interested in feminism around the age of nine, after her mother took her to a rally in Washington D.C. where feminist icon Gloria Steinem spoke. Though several years would pass before she became an outspoken feminist, with Hanna eventually referring to herself as a radical feminist, the event left an impression on her. In a 2000 interview with BUST magazine, Hanna recalled: "My mom was a housewife, and wasn't somebody that people would think of as a feminist, and when Ms. magazine came out we were incredibly inspired by it. I used to cut pictures out of it and make posters that said "Girls can do anything", and stuff like that, and my mom was inspired to work at a basement of a church doing anti-domestic violence work. Then she took me to the Solidarity Day thing, and it was the first time I had ever been in a big crowd of women yelling, and it really made me want to do it forever."

From her outposts in Los Angeles and Kansas City, fashion designer Peggy Noland creates new looks for rock stars, club freaks, and extroverts, generously and optimistically refracting corporate logos into psychedelic textiles, transforming chemical-laden refuse into Claes Oldenberg-style installations. Curating for MOCAtv, Noland selects videos whose subjects perform similar transubstantiations. Her picks include a haul video from a seriously sincere shopper; a TV ad by Charlie White; and a performances that's The Exorcist-meets-Whitney Houston. Another is a bedroom confessional that Noland says sums up her worldview: all of you haters out there, don't comment and don't subscribe.
Creative people are not found only along the U.S. coastlines. Peggy Noland Kansas City is the tiny storefront headquarters of the titular designer, installation artist, actress, and teacher. Enhorabuena Senda, enhorabuena a esos artistas. ¿Le das al play? Más capítulos en http://www.tendencias.tv
