I wonder. Is "Quasi Un Vivaldi" an original composition, or is it based on something by Vivaldi?

QT also made extensive use of 60's and 70's soundtracks for his Kill Bill films. Some of these might qualify as sleazy listening :P

The link above lists all the music, and where it comes from.

Thanks again ! :D

Hi Brianiac,
I always ask you for soundtracks. This time, i give you one.
In this great blog: http://sanpasquale.blogspot.com/2008/03/franco-micalizzi-la-banda-del-gobbo-aka.html
You'll find the great great Franco Micalizzi's soundtrack "La Banda del Gobbo".
It's 5 stars.
Best wishes,
Albatroz

Morricone often used well known motifs from classical composers like Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven etc. in many soundtracks, he tended to use famous "bits" of classical pieces, often in a comic or ironic way, a famous one would be his use of the opening notes of "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" during the prison raids in "Duck You Sucker".
Another famous piece I can think of is Beethoven's "Fur Elise" which he uses alot, particularly in the soundtrack to "Il Diavolo Nel Cervello".

Thanks for all the wonderful music! Such a gift! You're always so spot on with your choices. If you have it, is there any way to share the soundtrack for the Lucio Fucli film "Contraband?" It's a hard one to find, but I've always loved that soundtrack. Or do you have the soundtrack for "Man From Deep River?" Another great one. Thanks again for all your shares, I always look forward to your next release.

Please feel free to post a link on your site should you find it appropriate.

Thanks for your insight, Dom.

I do not have either of those, Le Drugstore. I'm sorry. If you ever come across them, please share.

dB, thanks for the offer. I'm sure there are lots. Let me think about it.

Great stuff, David! I'd love to share it with everyone.

Much thanks to your hard work on this Blog!
You have superb taste.
Not sure where to post this so I picked an Ennio Soundtrack-
Any chance you have a link to his soundtrack to Lenzi's "Spasmo"(1974)
and Alessandro Alessandroni's score to "The Devil's Nightmare"?
The later I've been searching for for years. Thanks
