U.S. Air Force Gen. John E. Hyten, commander of U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), hosted international, military, governmental, academic and industry experts for "Experience Day" at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., July 28, 2017. The participants, who attended the 2017 USSTRATCOM Deterrence Symposium in Omaha earlier in the week, were given a USSTRATCOM mission brief, toured the Global Operations Center and visited a B-52 Stratofortress, OC-135 Observation Aircraft, E-6B Mercury and a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense launcher.

During the two-day symposium, industry, military, governmental, international and academic experts discussed and promoted increased collaboration to address 21st century strategic deterrence.
