Tomomi Inada (稲田 朋美, Inada Tomomi, born 20 February 1959) is a Japanese lawyer and politician. She is currently the Chairman of the Policy Research Council of the Liberal Democratic Party and in her fourth term as a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). She is a native of Imadate, Fukui.
After graduating Waseda University in 1981, she became a lawyer in 1985. She first belonged to the Osaka bar association and has belonged to the Fukui bar association since 2008. She stands for the government in relation to the lawsuit relating to Yasukuni Shrine, and served as an attorney for the plaintiff concerning the "Contest to kill 100 people using a sword" that occurred during the Second Sino-Japanese War, as well as the commanders who fought in the Battle of Okinawa and a bereaved family suing Kenzaburō Ōe and Iwanami Shoten for their defamation of character towards the commanders. When she served as an attorney for the families of the plaintiff concerning the "Contest to kill 100 people using a sword" that allegedly occurred during the Second Sino-Japanese War, she tried to win her points in court. But her side lost in court, because the judge at Supreme Court of Japan admitted some testimonies. After the failure of the trial, she hoped to become a politician. She wanted to proudly support the honor of Japanese soldiers during the Second Sino-Japanese War and their families, from the political side rather than the judicial side.。

Japan's new Defense Minister Tomomi Inada has criticized North Korea and China over their military activities in the region. Inada made the remarks as she reviewed troops on her first day in the job. Her statements come amid rising tensions in Southeast Asia. On Wednesday, North Korea test fired a missile that for the first time landed in Japan’s waters. Earlier this week, Tokyo also strongly criticized Beijing, warning that QUOTE-China’s aggressive stance in territorial disputes risks sparking unintended conflict. Tokyo and Beijing are embroiled in a long-running territorial dispute over uninhabited islands in the East China Sea. Japan's Defense Minister Tomomi Inada has said the country has already paid enough towards the costs of the US forces stationed there. Her remarks refer to the some 1.9 billion US dollars that Japan has paid on an annual basis to the US since 1978. However, US President-elect Donald Trump has mentioned that Japan should be paying more, and even made reference to a blanket withdrawal of troops if necessary. Know the man who'll burn down
The evidence
He's the one who gets kicks out of
Violence
He knows all about hate and pride
What a waste of time
Hit by hit he is crushing down
The old
Bit by Bit every inch of your soul
It doesn't matter who's wrong or
Who's right
What a waste of life
Someone told you to come along
Walk beside and you're not alone
Same old days won't return
When you cross the line you learn
You better know the game
Where no one knows your name
You should hide your scars for the
Last time
Every day it's all the same
When no one knows your pain
you should hide your scars for the
last time
Know the man who'll burn down
The evidence
He's the one who gets kicks out of
Violence
Once again time is passing by
