A woman has died after she was hit by a truck on the Sunshine Coast on Thursday evening.
Emergency services were called to a serious crash on School Road at Coolum Beach involving a vehicle and a pedestrian about 5pm.

The 39-year-old woman* was hit by the truck as she was getting out of a parked car, a police spokeswoman said.
The woman was declared dead at the scene, and the Forensic Crash Unit was investigating.
The truck's driver, a 39-year-old-man, was uninjured.
In Brisbane, three people were transported to hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Brisbane's north during peak hour.
Emergency services were called to Rode Road and Markway Street in Chermside West about 5pm to reports of a crash.
Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries, including bruising, according to an ambulance spokeswoman.
A police spokeswoman said the road had been reopened and the accident had been cleared.
