Synopsis - Ravi lives a middle-class lifestyle with his blind dad; mom, Durga; married sister, Mohini, who spends more time here than with her husband and mother-in-law; step-brother Adarsh, his wife, Sita, and their son, Raju; brother Badal, and his wife, Shobha. Durga had always high hopes on her sons and had wanted them to get married to wealthy girls so that she get a lot of dowry by way of cash, jewelery, gold, and clothes. Unfortunately, her step-son fell in love with Sita, who came from a poor family, and married her. To make matters worse, Badal had a love-marriage with gorgeous Shobha, who did not bring any dowry either. Finally, Ravi married Radha, who is an orphan living with a poor lifestyle with her maternal uncle and his wife, and had no dowry to bring. After his marriage, Ravi leaves town for employment reasons. Then one day he receives a letter from Shobha informing him that Radha is misbehaving with the entire family, especially with Durga. Angered at Radha, Ravi returns home, belittles and slaps Radha, and leaves home when Adarsh scolds him. It is after he leaves home that he will find out what really happened behind his back, and why Radha is not getting along with his family.

He brings the proposal before Shriram and his wife, Sita. They approve of Radha and show her photograph to Shriram's brother, Dr. Madhu, who agrees to marry her. The marriage is celebrated with great pomp and ceremony in the entire village. It is then that the Shriram, Sita, and Madhu find out that Radha has a serious illness - a fact that was known to Avtar - but not communicated to them. Radhika's injury does not deter her from going to the mutt and she starts running. Barkha follows her and once again rams her with her car. Radhika is seriously injured and bleeding profoundly. Barkha then walks towards a semi-conscious Radhika and brutally kills her. Meanwhile, Dev starts feeling uneasy and senses something is wrong but cannot decipher the indications. On the other hand, Barkha, feeling content after killing Radhika, digs a grave and buries her. Barkha returns to the mutt and Dev is shocked to see blood stains all over her body. Chotti Bahu
Chotti Bahu is an Indian television soap opera that aired on Zee TV,starring Avinash Sachdev as Dev and Rubina Dilaik as Radhika. The serial focuses on the love saga of Radhika, a great devotee of the Hindu god Krishna (often referred in the serial as "Kanha") and Dev.
The show had two seasons titled Chotti Bahu – Sindoor Bin Suhagan and Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi. Chotti Bahu season one created history by extending the prime time slot to early prime time 7:30 pm. The second season was brought back on public demand after the abrupt ending of the previous season. However,it was not as successful as the first season.
Series overview
Chotti Bahu - Sindoor Bin Suhagan (Season 1) was scheduled to premiere on 10 November 2008, but was delayed until 8 December 2008 due to the "Indian Television Strike" . Chotti Bahu season one is the pioneer of 7.30 time slot. It delivered numbers which beat some of the best shows across GEC's in the prime time and thereby extending the prime time slot to early prime time 7.30.

On the other hand, Barkha, feeling content after killing Radhika, digs a grave and buries her. Barkha returns to the mutt and Dev is shocked to see blood stains all over her body.
