AN ALLEGED drug runner was shot to death by two unidentified men on a motorcycle at Purok Sigay in Barangay 2, Bacolod City early Friday morning.

Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias Jr., head of Police Station 2, identified the fatality as Jose Jimmy Alencia, 47, of Purok Kamonsil, Barangay 3.

Investigation showed the victim was playing cara y cruz when one of the assailants fired at him around 3 a.m.

Alencia succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.

Police recovered from the scene several fired bullets of .45 caliber pistol.

Villarias said the incident was drug-related since the victim was involved in illegal drugs activities in the area. (GYM)
