BITS-Pilani is not only at par with the IIT's but better in many areas. There are many reasons but i find these valid to mention here:
# No compulsory attendance like in most IITs failing which you get debarred from giving exams. Here, you may not attend a single class but it's the sincerity in students which makes them work hard and not "Rules and Regulations."
# The academic flexibility (The option of a dual degree.)You can pursue both science and engineering together here. Students can take admission based on their BITSAT score in any of the campuses into an Msc. degree-Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Maths. These are students who have an aptitude for science and wish to pursue careers in the research field. There are many combinations one as CS and Maths; or EEE/ENI/Mech and Physics/Economics etc. So at the end of five years you have a B.E. as well as an Msc. degree.
# Most importantly You get admission here purely on merit basis.Even when the nation was boiling with the implementation of reservation policy on caste lines by Arjun Singh, BITS had taken a bold stand and opposed it stating that merit can not be compromised under any circumstances.
To sum up The IIT brand as it stands today is much greater than any engineering college but if you want to develop management,leadership qualities in yourself, BITS is the best place in INDIA.
P.S. Right from the day a student enters the campus all decisions are taken by him or her. Students get to make their own time table, they get to choose the teachers they want to study under , the time when they wish to study, the courses(electives) they wish to choose.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science
Birla Institute of Technology & Science (shortened BITS or Bits Pilani) is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. The university has 15 academic departments, and focuses primarily on undergraduate education in engineering and the sciences. It is widely known as the best private engineering institute of India.
The institute was established in its present form in 1964. During this period, the institute's transformation from a regional engineering college to a national university was backed by G.D. Birla. BITS has established centres at Goa, Pilani, Hyderabad and Dubai. There are two more proposed BITS centres coming up at Vizag and Bhubaneswar.
BITS administers the all-India computerised competitive entrance examination, BITSAT (BITS Admission Test), Admission is merit-based, as assessed by the BITSAT examination. The fully residential institute is privately supported.
History
Inception
The Birla Education Trust was founded in 1929; the intermediate college became a degree college and later offered postgraduate courses. The masters programme in electronics began in 1955.

Nightclub
A nightclub (also known as a discothèque, disco, dance club or club) is an entertainment venue which usually operates late into the night. A nightclub is generally distinguished from bars, pubs or taverns by the inclusion of a dance floor and a DJ booth, where a DJ plays recorded music. The busiest nights for a nightclub are Friday and Saturday night.
The music in nightclubs is either live bands or, more commonly, a mix of songs played by a DJ through a powerful PA system. Most clubs or club nights cater to certain music genres.
History
Early history
From about 1900 to 1920, working class Americans would gather at honky tonks or juke joints to dance to music played on a piano or a jukebox. Webster Hall is credited as the first modern nightclub, being built in 1886 and starting off as a "social hall", originally functioning as a home for dance and political activism events. During US Prohibition, nightclubs went underground as illegal speakeasy bars, with Webster Hall staying open, with rumors circulating of Al Capone's involvement and police bribery. With the repeal of Prohibition in February 1933, nightclubs were revived, such as New York's 21 Club, Copacabana, El Morocco, and the Stork Club. These nightclubs featured big bands (there were no DJs).

BITS PILANI, the best college for all round development.
BITS-Pilani is not only at par with the IIT's but better in many areas. There are many reasons but i find these valid to mention here: # No compulsory attendance like in most IITs failing which you get debarred from giving exams. Here, you may not attend a single class but it's the sincerity in students which makes them work hard and not "Rules and Regulations." # The academic flexibility (The option of a dual degree.)You can pursue both science and engineering together here. Students can take admission based on their BITSAT score in any of the campuses into an Msc. degree-Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Maths. BITS PILANI, the best college for all round development.
BITS-Pilani is not only at par with the IIT's but better in many areas. There are many reasons but i find these valid to mention here: # No compulsory attendance like in most IITs failing which you get debarred from giving exams. Here, you may not attend a single class but it's the sincerity in students which makes them work hard and not "Rules and Regulations." # The academic flexibility (The option of a dual degree.)You can pursue both science and engineering together here. Students can take admission based on their BITSAT score in any of the campuses into an Msc. degree-Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Maths. These are students who have an aptitude for science and wish to pursue careers in the research field. There are many combinations one as CS and Maths; or EEE/ENI/Mech a...

PLEASE NOTE: Even though the true RAM limit for a 32-bit OS is 4 GB, some systems, mainly Windows, may not show all of that RAM as being usable. We get asked about this a lot. The most common RAM limit we see is 3-3.25 GB on a 32-bit version of Windows. This is NOT true for all 32-bit systems, especially ones with a PAE.
