A man has been charged with numerous offences over an alleged road rage attack in Sydney's west on Tuesday.

After attending Merrylands Police Station, the 22-year-old driver of the Audi was charged with affray, intimidation, negligent driving, using an offensive instrument with intent and not disclosing the identity of a driver/passenger.
The man was granted bail and is scheduled to appear at Fairfield Local Court on August 16.
The two men in the Hyundai were also interviewed by police and released pending further inquiries.
