This hilarious film transports audiences to a colorful, wondrous world populated by the overly optimistic Trolls, who have a constant dance in their step and a song on their lips, and the comically pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have trolls in their stomachs.
After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy (Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious curmudgeonly Branch (Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Together, this mismatched duo embarks on a rescue mission full of adventure and mishaps – trying to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done.

Torrential downpours produced severe flooding along the Sauquoit Creek around Genesee Street in South Utica late this afternoon. Residents on Richardson Ave were told to evacuate. Here, a very lucky motorist heads down Brookline Drive and crosses over the closed Genesee St bridge. Logs/trees jammed into the eastern side of the bridge, causing floodwaters to rise and flood Brookline Drive, Richardson Ave and Genesee Street. Richardson Ave residents were advised to evacuate.

Silver Creek tells the tale of a young band of outsiders, isolated and teased in their community, who one day discover the magic of their own creativity and imagination. The kids find solace and support in their celebration, though the moment is short-lived, and others try to break them apart.
If viewers are moved by this short film’s message, they are encouraged to click the “TIP THIS VIDEO" button right below this text. The funds raised from this are not only a “tip” - they are the necessary resources that make the work done by the beneficiary charities, the Trevor Project and Rainbow Resource Centre possible. Both organizations do exceptional work with LGBTQ youth in crisis and offer supportive services that make a vital difference in young people’s lives.
In 2012 Salazar set out across Canada driving over 2600 Kilometers from Vancouver, British Columbia to the village of Angusville, Manitoba to create Silver Creek. Over the course of 2 weeks the people of Angusville embraced our little band and our project, letting us shut down main street for days on end, invade their backyards, and throw confetti literally everywhere.
We cast local actors and kids from around the region and many residents came out to be background actors. Every night our crew and the community broke bread together in the town hall. It was a profoundly unique experience for all involved. For two weeks a band of 50 odd people came together as a family, we lived together, and got to play together at making a film. This tight knit togetherness fit with the spirit of what our film was trying to convey.

My first impression of Dubai was that of super-tall buildings jutting out of the desert sand. However, after 3 months of exploration, research and filming, my lasting impression is of the eternal wonder of the desert and the importance it holds for the Emirati people.
Dubai may be home to the world’s most outrageous skyline but Dubai’s desert dunes and historical creek are where you’ll find its soul.
A special thank you to Dubai Film for making this project possible and for providing the extraordinary access which enabled me to realise this story.

Silver Creek tells the tale of a young band of outsiders, isolated and teased in their community, who one day discover the magic of their own creativity and imagination. The kids find solace and support in their celebration, though the moment is short-lived, and others try to break them apart. If viewers are moved by this short film’s message, they are encouraged to click the “TIP THIS VIDEO" button right below this text. The funds raised from this are not only a “tip” - they are the necessary resources that make the work done by the beneficiary charities, the Trevor Project and Rainbow Resource Centre possible. Both organizations do exceptional work with LGBTQ youth in crisis and offer supportive services that make a vital difference in young people’s lives. In 2012 Salazar set out across Canada driving over 2600 Kilometers from Vancouver, British Columbia to the village of Angusville, Manitoba to create Silver Creek. Over the course of 2 weeks the people of Angusville embraced our little band and our project, letting us shut down main street for days on end, invade their backyards, and throw confetti literally everywhere. We cast local actors and kids from around the region and many residents came out to be background actors. Every night our crew and the community broke bread together in the town hall. It was a profoundly unique experience for all involved. For two weeks a band of 50 odd people came together as a family, we lived together, and got to play together at making a film. This tight knit togetherness fit with the spirit of what our film was trying to convey. "Driving Through Floodwaters, Sauquoit Creek, Utica, NY"
Torrential downpours produced severe flooding along the Sauquoit Creek around Genesee Street in South Utica late this afternoon. Residents on Richardson Ave were told to evacuate. Here, a very lucky motorist heads down Brookline Drive and crosses over the closed Genesee St bridge. Logs/trees jammed into the eastern side of the bridge, causing floodwaters to rise and flood Brookline Drive, Richardson Ave and Genesee Street. Richardson Ave residents were advised to evacuate.

The gorge is incredible, the rapids and waterfalls are incredibly fun but its a lot of work. There are a few involved portages as well as many must run rapids. Torrential downpours produced severe flooding along the Sauquoit Creek around Genesee Street in South Utica late this afternoon. Residents on Richardson Ave were told to evacuate. Here, a very lucky motorist heads down Brookline Drive and crosses over the closed Genesee St bridge. Logs/trees jammed into the eastern side of the bridge, causing floodwaters to rise and flood Brookline Drive, Richardson Ave and Genesee Street. Richardson Ave residents were advised to evacuate.

Silver Creek tells the tale of a young band of outsiders, isolated and teased in their community, who one day discover the magic of their own creativity and imagination. The kids find solace and support in their celebration, though the moment is short-lived, and others try to break them apart.
If viewers are moved by this short film’s message, they are encouraged to click the “TIP THIS VIDEO" button right below this text. The funds raised from this are not only a “tip” - they are the necessary resources that make the work done by the beneficiary charities, the Trevor Project and Rainbow Resource Centre possible. Both organizations do exceptional work with LGBTQ youth in crisis and offer supportive services that make a vital difference in young people’s lives.
In 2012 Salazar set out across Canada driving over 2600 Kilometers from Vancouver, British Columbia to the village of Angusville, Manitoba to create Silver Creek. Over the course of 2 weeks the people of Angusville embraced our little band and our project, letting us shut down main street for days on end, invade their backyards, and throw confetti literally everywhere.
We cast local actors and kids from around the region and many residents came out to be background actors. Every night our crew and the community broke bread together in the town hall. It was a profoundly unique experience for all involved. For two weeks a band of 50 odd people came together as a family, we lived together, and got to play together at making a film. This tight knit togetherness fit with the spirit of what our film was trying to convey.

My first impression of Dubai was that of super-tall buildings jutting out of the desert sand. However, after 3 months of exploration, research and filming, my lasting impression is of the eternal wonder of the desert and the importance it holds for the Emirati people.
Dubai may be home to the world’s most outrageous skyline but Dubai’s desert dunes and historical creek are where you’ll find its soul.

The gorge is incredible, the rapids and waterfalls are incredibly fun but its a lot of work. There are a few involved portages as well as many must run rapids. I spent two full weekends here in early October filming.

"Driving Through Floodwaters, Sauquoit Creek, Utica, NY"
Torrential downpours produced severe flooding along the Sauquoit Creek around Genesee Street in South Utica late this afternoon. Residents on Richardson Ave were told to evacuate. Here, a very lucky motorist heads down Brookline Drive and crosses over the closed Genesee St bridge. Logs/trees jammed into the eastern side of the bridge, causing floodwaters to rise and flood Brookline Drive, Richardson Ave and Genesee Street. Richardson Ave residents were advised to evacuate.

From the creators of SHREK comes DreamWorks Animation’s TROLLS, a smart, funny and irreverent comedy about the search for happiness, and just how far some will go to get it. This hilarious film transports audiences to a colorful, wondrous world populated by the overly optimistic Trolls, who have a constant dance in their step and a song on their lips, and the comically pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have trolls in their stomachs.
After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy (Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious curmudgeonly Branch (Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Together, this mismatched duo embarks on a rescue mission full of adventure and mishaps – trying to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done.
Utilizing music to further the film's narrative, the TROLLS soundtrack is produced by Justin Timberlake and features five original songs including songs by Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Anna Kendrick and Gwen Stefani, in addition to a number of classic hits from the ‘60s through the ‘80s.

From the creators of SHREK comes DreamWorks Animation’s TROLLS, a smart, funny and irreverent comedy about the search for happiness, and just how far some will go to get it. This hilarious film transports audiences to a colorful, wondrous world populated by the overly optimistic Trolls, who have a constant dance in their step and a song on their lips, and the comically pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have trolls in their stomachs.
After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy (Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious curmudgeonly Branch (Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Together, this mismatched duo embarks on a rescue mission full of adventure and mishaps – trying to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done.
Utilizing music to further the film's narrative, the TROLLS soundtrack is produced by Justin Timberlake and features five original songs including songs by Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Anna Kendrick and Gwen Stefani, in addition to a number of classic hits from the ‘60s through the ‘80s.

Here, a very lucky motorist heads down Brookline Drive and crosses over the closed Genesee St bridge. Logs/trees jammed into the eastern side of the bridge, causing floodwaters to rise and flood Brookline Drive, Richardson Ave and Genesee Street. Richardson Ave residents were advised to evacuate.

Silver Creek tells the tale of a young band of outsiders, isolated and teased in their community, who one day discover the magic of their own creativity and imagination. The kids find solace and support in their celebration, though the moment is short-lived, and others try to break them apart.
If viewers are moved by this short film’s message, they are encouraged to click the “TIP THIS VIDEO" button right below this text. The funds raised from this are not only a “tip” - they are the necessary resources that make the work done by the beneficiary charities, the Trevor Project and Rainbow Resource Centre possible. Both organizations do exceptional work with LGBTQ youth in crisis and offer supportive services that make a vital difference in young people’s lives.
In 2012 Salazar set out across Canada driving over 2600 Kilometers from Vancouver, British Columbia to the village of Angusville, Manitoba to create Silver Creek. Over the course of 2 weeks the people of Angusville embraced our little band and our project, letting us shut down main street for days on end, invade their backyards, and throw confetti literally everywhere.
We cast local actors and kids from around the region and many residents came out to be background actors. Every night our crew and the community broke bread together in the town hall. It was a profoundly unique experience for all involved. For two weeks a band of 50 odd people came together as a family, we lived together, and got to play together at making a film. This tight knit togetherness fit with the spirit of what our film was trying to convey.

My first impression of Dubai was that of super-tall buildings jutting out of the desert sand. However, after 3 months of exploration, research and filming, my lasting impression is of the eternal wonder of the desert and the importance it holds for the Emirati people.
Dubai may be home to the world’s most outrageous skyline but Dubai’s desert dunes and historical creek are where you’ll find its soul.

The gorge is incredible, the rapids and waterfalls are incredibly fun but its a lot of work. There are a few involved portages as well as many must run rapids. I spent two full weekends here in early October filming.
