Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones, Jr., often shortened to "Indy", is the title character of the Indiana Jones franchise. George Lucas created the character in homage to the action heroes of 1930s film serials. The character first appeared in the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark, to be followed by Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1984, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles from 1992 to 1996, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008. Alongside the more widely known films and television programs, the character is also featured in novels, comics, video games, and other media. Jones is also featured in the Disney theme park attraction; Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, as well as the Disneyland Paris attraction Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril.
Jones is most famously played by Harrison Ford and has also been portrayed by River Phoenix (as the young Jones in The Last Crusade) and in the television series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles by Corey Carrier, Sean Patrick Flanery, and George Hall. Doug Lee has supplied Jones voice to two LucasArts video games, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, while David Esch supplied his voice to Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb and John Armstrong in Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a 1989 American action-adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg, from a story co-written by executive producer George Lucas. It is the third installment in the Indiana Jones franchise. Harrison Ford reprises the title role and Sean Connery plays Indiana's father, Henry Jones, Sr. Other cast members featured include Alison Doody, Denholm Elliott, Julian Glover, River Phoenix, and John Rhys-Davies. In the film, set largely in 1938, Indiana searches for his father, a Holy Grail scholar, who has been kidnapped by Nazis.
After the mixed reaction to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Spielberg chose to compensate with a film that toned down the violence and gore. During the five years between Temple of Doom and Last Crusade, he and executive producer Lucas reviewed several scripts before accepting Jeffrey Boam's. Filming locations included Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Turkey and Jordan.
The film was released in North America on May 24, 1989, to mostly positive reviews. It was a financial success, earning $474,171,806 at the worldwide box office totals. It won an Academy Award for Best Sound Editing.
A last is a mechanical form that has a shape similar to that of a human foot. It is used by shoemakers and cordwainers in the manufacture and repair of shoes. Lasts typically come in pairs and have been made from various materials, including hardwoods, cast iron, and high-density plastics.
Lasts come in many styles and sizes, depending on the exact job they are designed for. Common variations include simple one-size lasts used for repairing soles and heels, durable lasts used in modern mass production, and custom-made lasts used in the making of bespoke footwear. Though a last is made approximately in the shape of a human foot, the precise shape is tailored to the kind of footwear being made. For example, a boot last would be designed to hug the instep for a close fit. Modern last shapes are typically designed using dedicated computer-aided design software.
Historically, lasts were typically made from hardwoods and cast iron because these materials retain their shape, even when in contact with wet materials (like leather) and subjected to the mechanical stresses of stretching and shaping shoes on them. Today, wooden lasts are generally used only for bespoke shoemaking, particularly in Europe and North America.

A grown-up Indy (Harrison Ford) reveals himself shortly afterward in a familiar classroom scene, teaching archeology to a disproportionate number of starry-eyed female college students in 1938. Once again, however, Mr. Jones is drawn away from his day job after an art collector (Julian Glover) approaches him with a proposition to find the much sought after Holy Grail. In this documentary (found on the Crystal Skull DVD), Steven Spielberg admits he did not want to have aliens as a plot in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Not only that, but he admits that he didn't want to do another Indy movie PERIOD. He was coerced into doing the movie and the alien plot by George Lucas. He felt that the Indy franchise should be left alone since it ended on such a good note. I, like many Indy fans, was severely disappointed in the Crystal Skull. It's not that it wasn't a good sequel, it's the fact that it was just a bad movie in general, in my opinion of course. I felt the problems all lied in the script since it actually had a pretty high production value. I felt not only was the movie dumbed down for today's audiences and children, but loaded wi...

Interview with Ray Winstone on the subject of motion capture in Beowulf, greenscreen on Indiana Jones and providing animation reference as well as voice acting for Rango. Great information about the role of the actor in what is normally perceived as a more technical filmmaking process.
With 18 years between Last Crusade and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, there is some apprehension from die-hard Indy fans on this one... but after seeing what the Big Three have to say about this installment, we're pretty sold. What are your thoughts on this one? A long overdue chapter in the Indy series? Or a tacked-on cash grab happening too late to be good for a classic franchise? There’s definitely lots of opinion out there… ~Matt + Nat

Tell me it takes a one to wall you tips made him go
And yes it hurts so dig a deep hole to bury death twats
I couldn't live with no one else your jealousy becomes your passes by
Remember what you said she probly killed that sense
With the first time we gave in there she saying
That you don't really care how can you do what soul down a hole
Make you feel small take it back to the phase
To improve respect ten fold have to celebrate we go out
Bottle of the pain fall off the bottom shelf
That you don't wanna know watch me sweat
The desert island will be your prison cell
Remember what you said I don't know nobody else
Then a ray of action sped rhetoric that'd make you feel sick
Now I don't know what to say that'll turn against
I don't know what to say yet now I don't know what to say
That'll turn against I don't know what to say no no
It's the first time we made them ** do you really care
How can you chew that soul down in a hole it makes you feel small
Here's another ray of headspinning rhetoric that'll make you feel sick
Get it off my *face* don't let em' burn the shelves
(everyone dance, everyone sing)
Now I can dance now I can dance now I'll go dance now I can dance
Now I can dance can dance now I'll go dance now I can dance
Now I can dance watch them dance now I'll dance now I can dance
So I can dance watch them dance go dance now I can dance
