    UPDATE: It’s long-overdue, but it appears that TriCare has listened and acted. They have appointed a demolition firm and, like all local residents, I’m looking forward to seeing the derelict Salvin Park Nursing Home site cleared and cleaned-up.

    I’ve had a gut-full of the lack of action on this derelict & dangerous eyesore. Last year, the owners of this site, TriCare, committed in writing that demolition of the derelict buildings would kick-off in early 2018. I’m yet to see any evidence that this is going to happen.

    Brisbane City Council & TransLink are jointly funding the extension of the popular Maroon CityGlider high-frequency bus service to Coorparoo Junction. 🚍🚍🚍 Services will start next Monday, 22 January, and run every 10mins during peak times and every 15mins at all other times.

    7 yrs ago today, the amazing people of Brisbane came out in force to form a volunteer Mud Army after the 2011 Flood. This was a uniquely Brisbane response to those in need. Let’s to celebrate the caring, generous Spirit of Brisbane & make sure we never lose it!
