Kyushu (九州, Kyūshū, lit. "Nine Provinces") (Japanese pronunciation: [kjɯᵝːꜜɕɯᵝː]) is the third largest island of Japan and most southwesterly of its four main islands. Its alternate ancient names include Kyūkoku (九国?, "Nine States") , Chinzei (鎮西?, "West of the Pacified Area") , and Tsukushi-no-shima (筑紫島?, "Island of Tsukushi") . The historical regional name Saikaidō (西海道, lit. West Sea Circuit) referred to Kyushu and its surrounding islands.
In the 8th century Taihō Code reforms, Dazaifu was established as a special administrative term for the region.
As of 2006, Kyushu has a population of 13,231,995 and covers 35,640 square kilometres (13,760 sq mi).
The island is mountainous, and Japan's most active volcano, Mt Aso at 1,591 metres (5,220 ft), is on Kyushu. There are many other signs of tectonic activity, including numerous areas of hot springs. The most famous of these are in Beppu, on the east shore, and around Mt. Aso, in central Kyushu. The island is separated from Honshu by the Kanmon Straits.
The Isle of Demons is a legendary land once believed to exist on Quirpon Island, Newfoundland in Canada. It was generally shown as two islands. It began appearing on maps in the beginning of the 16th century, and disappeared in the mid-17th century.
It was believed that the island was populated by demons and wild beasts. The demons and wild beasts would torment and attack any ships that passed or anyone that was foolish enough to wander onto the island. There is also a legend that a sea captain's niece who became pregnant while having an affair with one of the sailors was marooned on the island along with her lover where they were tormented by demons and evil spirits. George Martin, a late 19th-century Canadian poet living in Montreal, wrote a long poem “Marguerite, Or The Isle Of Demons” chronicling the legend. Residents of the area and visitors have claimed that they have seen the couple wander the island in their desperate search to be rescued.
The Isle of Demons first appears in the 1508 map of Johannes Ruysch. It may simply be relocated version of the older legendary island of Satanazes ("Devils" in Portuguese), that was normally depicted in 15th-century maps in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, just north of Antillia. With the Atlantic Ocean better mapped with the trans-oceanic voyages of the 1490s, Ruysch may simply have transplanted old Satanazes to a more suitable location.

Ni-Oh (仁王, lit. "benevolent king") is an upcoming historical action role-playing game being developed by Team Ninja, to be published by Koei Tecmo exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
The game follows the story of William (Loosely based upon William Adams), a blond-haired Samurai and son of a Japanese lord and a Western woman during the Warring States period in 16th-century Japan.
Originally announced by Koei in 2004 (before their merger with Tecmo made them Koei Tecmo), the game is based on an unfinished script by legendary Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa titled Oni (Japanese word for demon). The game was to be released with a companion film, also titled Oni, that would have seen the directoral debut of Hisao Kurosawa, Akira Kurosawa's son. Hisao Kurosawa was completing his father's script with assistance from game producer Kou Shibusawa of Koei, with a combined production budget of ¥ 3 billion for both film and game. "When reading Hisao Kurosawa's script," Shibusawa said during a press conference, "it gave me the impression of stories like 'Seven Samurai' and 'The Hidden Fortress' -- I felt the common DNA between him and Akira Kurosawa."
The Spirit is a fictional masked crimefighter created by cartoonist Will Eisner. He first appeared June 2, 1940 as the main feature of a 16-page, tabloid-sized, newsprint comic book insert distributed in the Sunday edition of Register and Tribune Syndicate newspapers; it was ultimately carried by 20 Sunday newspapers, with a combined circulation of five million copies during the 1940s. "The Spirit Section", as the insert was popularly known, continued until October 5, 1952. It generally included two other, four-page strips (initially Mr. Mystic and Lady Luck), plus filler material. Eisner was the editor, but also wrote and drew most entries—after the first few months, he had the uncredited assistance of writer Jules Feiffer and artists Jack Cole and Wally Wood, though Eisner's singular vision for the character was a unifying factor.
From the 1960s to 1980s, a handful of new Eisner Spirit stories appeared in Harvey Comics and elsewhere, and Warren Publishing and Kitchen Sink Press variously reprinted the newspaper feature in black-and-white comics magazines and in color comic books. In the 1990s and 2000s, Kitchen Sink Press and DC Comics also published new Spirit stories by other writers and artists.

You asked for it, here it is, the region of Hoenn, EXPLAINED! I've been playing a lot of Gen 6 and ORAS lately, and I have loved making this new video. Generation 3 of Pokemon may be the most controversial of all regions, but its setting is undeniably a unique place to explore in-game. An earthquake of 7.0 magnitude hit Kumamoto, in Japan's Kyushu island, early on Saturday, only two days after the same region was struck by a 6.2 quake. The number of casualties remain unknown as of yet. As of yet, there is no information about infrastructural damage, although it is likely that many buildings have been affected. The earthquake also led the Japan Meteorological Agency to issue a tsunami advisory for the coastal regions of Japan.
