A mid-size car (occasionally referred to as an intermediate) is the North American/Australian standard for an automobile with a size equal to or greater than that of a compact. In Europe mid-sizers are referred to as D-segment or large family cars.
The automobile that defined this size in the United States was the Rambler Six that was introduced in 1956, although it was called "compact" car at that time. The mid-size class then grew out of the compacts of the early-1960s. For example, the Ford Fairlane was referred to at its introduction in 1962 as a compact intermediate because it was barely bigger than its close relative, the Falcon. General Motors' first entries in the class, such as the Oldsmobile F-85, Pontiac Tempest, and Buick Special were not mechanically related to the compact Chevrolet Corvair, but were similar in size.
At that time vehicle classes were defined more by their wheelbase than interior passenger space and cargo capacity. The class began to grow rapidly, and for the next ten years each expansion in size in the full-size field was followed by a proportionate growth in the mid-size models. By the mid-1960s, they were as big as the full-size cars of the mid-1950s. By the mid-1970s, they were nearly as big as the full-size cars of the mid-1960s.
Kelley Blue Book is an Irvine, California-based vehicle valuation and automotive research company that is recognized by both consumers and the automotive industry. The company is part of Cox Automotive, a unit of Atlanta, GA-based Cox Enterprises.
The company began as the Kelley Kar Company founded by Les Kelley in 1918. Kelley started the company with three Model T Fords. His younger brother, Buster, worked with Kelley as a lot boy. By using data collected from the dealership, Kelley published the company’s first Blue Book in 1926, which became a standard guide in automotive trade in determining car value. Kelley Blue Book was formed in 1926, and the Kelley family continued its dealership business in Southern California for several decades. By the 1960s, the company moved from a car dealership to a specialty publisher and focused on the production of its automobile price guide.
In 1995, Kelley Blue Book created its company website, which contained tips and pricing information from its hardcopy guide.
The Chevrolet Colorado and its counterpart, the GMC Canyon, are compact pickup trucks marketed by American automaker General Motors. They were introduced in 2004 to replace the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC Sonoma compact pickups. It is named for the American state, Colorado.
The Chevrolet Colorado and its twin, the GMC Canyon were jointly designed by GM's North American operations, GM's Brazil operations, and Isuzu. Isuzu, which participated in the design process, began selling its own version worldwide in 2002. In late 2005, Isuzu offered a version in North America called the Isuzu i-Series. This North American model Isuzu shared North American powertrains, styling, and equipment with the Colorado/Canyon twins and differed from Isuzu's worldwide offering. All Chevrolet, GMC, and Isuzu versions worldwide are based on the GMT355, itself the basis for the GMT 345-based Hummer H3. Most vehicles for markets outside North America are manufactured at a GM plant in Rayong, Thailand, as well as at a GM plant in São José dos Campos, Brazil. Most North American-market vehicles were manufactured in Shreveport, Louisiana.
A trailer (also known as a preview or coming attraction) is an advertisement or a commercial for a feature film that will be exhibited in the future at a cinema. The term "trailer" comes from their having originally been shown at the end of a feature film screening. That practice did not last long, because patrons tended to leave the theater after the films ended, but the name has stuck. Trailers are now shown before the film (or the A-movie in a double feature) begins.
Movie trailers have now become popular on DVDs and Blu-rays, as well as on the Internet and mobile devices. Of some 10 billion videos watched online annually, film trailers rank third, after news and user-created video. The trailer format has also been adopted as a promotional tool for television shows, video games, books, and theatrical events/concerts.
The first trailer shown in a U.S. film theater was in November 1913, when Nils Granlund, the advertising manager for the Marcus Loew theater chain, produced a short promotional film for the musical The Pleasure Seekers, opening at the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway. Loew adopted the practice, which was reported in a wire service story carried by the Lincoln, Nebraska Daily Star, describing it as "an entirely new and unique stunt", and that "moving pictures of the rehearsals and other incidents connected with the production will be sent out in advance of the show, to be presented to the Loew’s picture houses and will take the place of much of the bill board advertising". Granlund was also first to introduce trailer material for an upcoming motion picture, using a slide technique to promote an upcoming film featuring Charlie Chaplin at Loew's Seventh Avenue Theatre in Harlem in 1914.

In one moment I'm goin all the way.
I make my poetry everyday.
And I'm frozen, comin right on time I froze my mind with that serious rhyme.
And I'm open comin up inside you know my mind has got a grand design
and I'm flowin, goin all the way I make my point to be everyday come on.
And I wanna take you down, but your soul cannot be found.
It doesn't matter much you see cause your disease is killing me.
And you know its only right cause it feels like paradise.
I know nothing is for free cause your disease is killing me.
My minds broken, I'm goin up in smoke if you breathe my toke I'm guaranteeing you choke
and I'm chosen to testify to the masses wear dark glasses like the cops in Texas.
All knowing its not a premonition kill the competition like a man on a mission
I'm blowin comin up inside like the Bee Gees cry I'm just stayin alive come on.
And I wanna take you down, but your soul cannot be found.
It doesn't matter much you see cause your disease is killing me.
And you know its only right cause it feels like paradise.
I know nothing is for free cause your disease is killing me.
So now I'm finally goin down can I find my way back home now there's no one else
around can I find my way back home.
Will I ever see the light.
Even though I'm fallin.
Will there ever be any peace for me.
Even though I'm falling.
Will there ever be any peace for me.
Even though I'm falling.
Will there ever be any peace for me.
And I wanna take you down, but your soul cannot be found.
It doesn't matter much you see cause your disease is killing me.
And you know its only right cause it feels like paradise.
I know nothing is for free cause your disease is killing me.
And I wanna take you down, but your soul cannot be found.
It doesn't matter much you see cause your disease is killing me.
And you know its only right cause it feels like paradise.
