Sep 12th: Tonight's the night...

Every Scottish football fan remembers exactly where they were when Gary Caldwell scored the winner against France last year. I was over in Brittany, going mental. Tonight the Scotland team has the chance of achieving the greatest victory in our footballing history since Wembley 1967. It's more likely we'll get thumped by the best team in the world but Scotland are totally unpredictable when written off. To get in the mood for the big game, here's a few precious moments from the Scotland archives:

Scotland v England, Wembley 1977 (aka The Original Crossbar Challenge)
Scotland v England, Wembley 1967 (aka The New World Champions)
Scotland v Holland, Argentine 1978 (aka Better Than Sex)
Scotland v France, Hampden 2006 (aka Va Va Voom Ya Bams)

And finally, my favourite Scotland game ever, with the goals, the highlights, and the greatest pitch invasion of all time...
Scotland v England, Wembley 1977 (again) (aka How Tae Hump The English & Trash Their Stadium)
