"The Man Who Bridged the Mist"
wins the
Hugo Award! Kij's novella was first published in the October/November
2011 issue of Asimov's Science Fiction and was also just honored in
May by SFWA with the
Nebula Award. Congratulations, Kij!

During a visit while interviewing for a faculty position with the University
of Kansas English Department, Kij reads from "26 Monkeys, Also the Abyss"
and hosts a Q&A Jayhawk Room of the Kansas Union on Monday at 4:00pm -
5:15pm, followed by a reception.
