Just sold “A New Reality”, a short story, to the XPRIZE anthology titled Seat 14-C.

Just sold my novelette, “In the Tombs of the Martian Kings”, which originally appeared in Gardner Dozois and George R. R. Martin’s Old Mars, to China’s Science Fiction World Magazine.

I just sold the Dead Enders Trilogy, consisting of The Fortress in Orion, The Prison in Antares, and the soon-to-be-released The Castle in Cassiopeia, to SFW, my regular Chinese publisher.

My newest novel, The Gods of Sagittarius, a collaboration with my good friend (and frequent bestseller) Eric Flint, is now available from Baen Books, with cover art by Stephan Martiniere.

The Italian translation/edition of Santiago: A Myth of the Far Future has been nominated for the very prestigious Premio Italia Award. In fact, it’s up for 3 of them: Best Translated Novel, Best Cover Art, and Best Translation. Winner to be announced in late May.

VOYAGES, the 5th Lucifer Jones book, is out in hardcover from Subterranean Press, following ADVENTURES, EXPLOITS, ENCOUNTERS and HAZARDS. The cover art, by 10-time Hugo winner Bob Eggleton, depicts a large, unhappy anthropoid named Kong, who is just getting over a bad marriage.

Just back from Hollywood, where I was given a gorgeous Lifetime Achievement Award by the Writers of the Future.
