Apparently FFP does not exist for City. How comes they were able to buy players for nearly 400 m over the last 2 years?

Arab money flowing through their so called commercial deals.. Its so dodgy, just crazy.. At least you guys, selling your players well. I dont think Abromovich invested much money into the team lately

Yeah I read PSG are using the same loopholes. Commercial deals from their other companies.
After Torres transfer in 2010 club changed the transfer policy completely.
Over last 7 years we have net spent around 60m per season in-spite of letting likes of Drogba , Terry , Lampard , Cole , Ivan ,Cech , Essien etc go. Thanks to our selling power and smart deals with 30-35m cap (only exception being Morata this season)
People think only City and united are re-building aging Squad...But if you noticed we have replaced almost entire team of legends that won CL 5 seasons back with reasonable spending and managed to win 2 PL trophies in that gap.

Im sure UEFA/FIFA will stamp all over PSG and City especially. Both these clubs were already in the FFP dock for overspending from back in 2013-14. Both were fined/barred from signing beyond a limit. City fans lamely resorted to booing whenever the UEFA anthem played in UCL games. lol

They will still get away with it somehow. Looking at City's spending its obvious that they are looking to have 2 top players for every position and if they achieve that then a 2-3 year transfer ban plus fine will be inconsequential. They are signing young players as well so they will very ok even for a lengthy ban.

Apparently market is inflated because we paid 60m for bench warmer Morata. But 50m each Walker , Stones , Sterling , Mendy is worth every penny because they started every game.
