Paulinho (Guangzhou Evergrande): "There has been a contact with my agent. There's an offer (from Barça). It is difficult to decide" #fcblive

Would lot be able to tell me how good Paulinho actually is and why we would be interested in him? Oh and I don't really remember but how come you guys got rid of him?
He's a b2b Mid with some great goals in him. From what I can remember he was just lazy. He was part of the clear out from Poch. Assuming he didn't have the right attitude and was considered by some a flop. Though I always remembered he played a lot better for his national team.
Suraj is the only active spurs fans around...forum is almost dead even during match days. I think they use some Tinychat during match days for last couple of seasons.
+1
Tinychat and now shifted to Line on phone. North comes around here during the season.
Harry Kane is a f***n Beast! 4 Hat-tricks, could have scored another if he wasn't injured a few months back.
+2
Congrats on a great season guys - im officially burying the hatchet from the 2-2 game at the end of season 15/16 - when you kicked us down for 90 minutes.

Anyway - what a season from Spurs! 26 wins and 86 goals while only conceeding 26, bravo.

good luck next year

If England had a proper manager, players like Kane and Alli would light up the stage.
+2
Remember the days when the England midfield consisted of Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes and Beckham? Their defense had top players like Cole, Cambell, Ferdinand, Neville, Terry and their strikeforce was the great Emile Heskey.

Tons of trophies were won then too :P

I'm just saying; national teams require more than 2 top players. You either get extremely lucky in a EC/WC like Greece 2004 or Portugal 2016 or your team is solid from top to bottom and has the experience to overcome the mental obstacles. Belgium, for example, is solid from top to bottom, but lacks the experience. Which is why we fail time and again on the big stage. Germany is the only team in Europe with the quality and experience to consistently do well.
+4
Sure you can say that but a great manger can also find away to get the best out of his players. England mangers have failed to show even the slightest. Tbh, England actually has good talent, they just have no idea what to do with it.
+1
Unfortunately for Pochettino, he still hasn't won anything either.
+2
Kane is pulling an end of the season sprint. Dayum!

Half man, half machine

Last day of the season. What a season it was! want to thanks Poch and the team for the excitement and good moments throughout the season.

Jermaine Jenas' thoughts are probably the same as most Spurs fans on the immediate future:

I honestly forgot you guys still had Sissokho.. was he injured or just not good enough to get more minutes?
just not good enough is an understatement
+1
Tbh he was always like that. Even for Newcastle, he was inconsistent or just not there at all and only seemed to turn up for a few games. It was only with France did he look like a world beater but other than that his nowhere near what he was valued for. Newcastle robbed you guys.
+4
it was such a strange signing at the time. yes he did well at the euros in the KO round but he had like 2 goals the entire season for newcastle and generally was poor. it seemed an odd Levy purchase. I also cant imagine pochettino asked for him either.
"Just a s**t Jamie Vardy!"

LMAO ;D
+3
Smh, he's going to smash some records at this pace. Franchise player right there. It's good to see homegrown english talent perform so well in the premier league. Rare sight these days (same goes for a few of your players, including Ali).

daaaaaaaamn..
