Perisic is fast man, carved Chelsea up on the counter. Scored a good goal and should have had an assist but someone missed a sitter.

For the sake of lukaku we need a winger who can cross the ball nice and early and perisic can do that as well as get in behind, hit on the break and make the right decision in the final third.

Many of you will be happy to hear this. Rumour is that Fellaini will sign for Galatasaray. They confirmed interest to sign him. I actually like Fellaini as a squad rotation player. If he leaves i hope Mou will sign at least 2 midfielders
And matic will join mou for 40mil next week according to some news bcos juve dont want to match what chelsea asking for..
Wow Matic for Fellaini will be a huge upgrade.. not worried about how much the club earns from selling Fella...
He is nice and likeable and all that, but his liabilities on the pitch far outweigh any good that he has to offer.
He fits certain styles of play, and he has to be played as CF alongside another fast/technical striker, unfortunately man utd cannot afford such a formation
At CM/DM, he is utter tosh

Funny and classy ,Fletch is the man.
"At times he was having deep conversations with C.Tevez, who at the time didnt speak a word of enlish" that cracked me up

Extremely heartfelt and fitting speech - it had it all a bit of humour and seriousness.
Not many footballers have gone through what Fletcher did and to be able to play at a highly competitive position despite his illness is truly special.

The medical condition he suffered was very unfortunate. He was really promising back in the 08 and 09 seasons, many predicted have been a mainstay of our midfield
Im sure he will come back to the club in some capacity after his playing days are done

Spalletti says there was interest at the beginning of the transfer window for Perisic but, as there has been no follow-up bid, he considers the matter to be closed.
"Until now, there hasn't been any important contact," he told a news conference. "There was something you already know about at the beginning of the window. There was no follow-up and so, for me, the topic is over.
"It's true what the journalists say: as time goes by, it becomes more and more difficult to replace him with another player. I will strongly oppose the sale of Perisic if an offer comes."

Kind of nuts if both Neymar and Mbappe move and we get neither despite all the cash we've got. IF you can't by the best, then whats the point? Never thought Barca would sell but there's been a lot of noise about Neymar and Mbappe leaving this summer. Ah well. Still hoping we land Antoine next summer then.
Neymar is as good as gone. I would have much rather preferred if he went to United than PSG. But again, besides paying his release clause which United could have easily done they are also paying his father like 40+ plus. I think that's one of the biggest reasons he's leaving.
Yeah Neymar is possibly in the top 3 players in the world, but for the money PSG paid for him, i'd rather us buy 2-3 players instead.
I will say however that this is pure insanity. All these transfers are making Ronaldo's 80 mil fee look like peanuts

IMO, no man, if you find a Messi or Ronaldo like player, you buy them. They will pay for themselves in trophies and sponsorships and other revenue. Remember when we sold Ronaldo, a lot of people thought that was a good price we got back but it's pennies now in the long term. Idk of neymar is for sure that level, but he certainly has the potential.
That's just the issue SIF. He's no Ronaldo or Messi. Sure, he is close but he's not quite on their level. He's got the potential to get there though, but will it be realized?
If he moves to PSG and does not manage to win CL in 2 or 3 seasons with the kind of supporting players PSG will provide him. It will prove it for real that he is no Messi or Ronaldo level player.
I'm certain nobody can do anything consistently like the two legends...Neymar is close but yet too far.

If we really think about it, we have not impvroved our squad that much from last year. Why should we expect an improvement? All our hope is on Mourinho to bring the magic..Need more to convince me that we will be competing in all fronts.
Not just Mourinho, but the players too. For example...learning how to take corners and crossing would be a great start.
And we should expect improvement as the squad is getting comfortable playing with each other and the nucleus of the team is starting to form with Pogba at its center

130m for Mbappe? no ty. I can see why Neymar has high price tag since he's already proven one of the best in the world. Mbappe on the other hand, had 1 good season. That's stupid money for a teenager.
SIF, It's not up to Barca if PSG triggers his Neymar release clause. I rmb seeing some Barca fans talking about how Barca doesn't treat Neymar as special as they treat Messi and that could be why he might leave. Money is always a factor. He will probably get much higher wage and his father will get 11m agent fee.

Neymar obviously moved for money to a smaller club. He should have listened to what CR7 said, leaving Barca for a french club playing in an awful league is the worst decision a player can make
But his motive was purely money it seems, so good luck with that.
He should know that he will never be able to reach the heights set by cr7/messi. Ligue 1 is a vastly inferior league, people barely watch it outside france and thats not going to change because neymar moved there.
At barca his audience was world wide, now its going to be much smaller...ofcourse he hopes he can win the UCL but I doubt it, too much oil money and ego in the psg dressing room they will capitulate like usual
AS for why is he leaving, he is turning into a shitty little bitch.. maybe dani alves is speaking often into his ears lol. Watch that video yesterday of how he acted up versus Nelson Semedo, its like he wants to be a prima donna
I think barca stand to profit big, they slapped a big release clause on this worm which psg seem eager to pay, so they are getting rid of a negative influence on the dressing room and with that kind of money they can easily add 2-3 world class players, if they get Verratti (or another WC midfielder) and Dembele they will have actually improved on their squad

@Vaaz - you are turning into a bitter person mate. Btw - I do agree with most of what you said in this post - just an observation that you used to be much more fun :P and lately I've seen you bash every player, club and organization in sight.
Bring out that positive man in you buddy :D i know he is hiding in there somewhere you got plenty to cheer about and some mouth watering games coming our way

You are crazy to suggest Dembele is anywhere near Neymar right now, just look at their production total. Not too long ago Neymar had 40+ goals in a season.
And has he always been a negative influence on the dressing room, or is this only since reports say he would leave? He's transformed now or was this always a critical flaw of his? I want some clarification.
People do this thing where they demonize players who want to leave, now they are just greedy, money-grabbing scumbags who are morally corrupt. OK. This wasn't Neymar's character before, but it would be as soon as he leaves for PSG right?

Saying he should know he will never reach Messi and Ronaldo level is just silly. That's just like giving up.
Zlatan went to PSG. That didn't stop his recognition

@Tomi haha its just the long summer, once the season starts and man utd are back in 6th ill be more positive again
@SIF Dembele isnt at Neymar's level yet, but he certainly has the potential. Imo he can be better than Neymar if he develops at the highest level.
Neymar hasnt scored 40 goals in a season for Barca, he was banging goals in Brazil. Last season he had less than 15 league goals, which is not really "indispensable" as far as barca go
Look, he had to go and get into a public fight with a new signing and then throw a tantrum after that, is clear he is after money and wants to leave asap. I cant think of any other player who has gotten into a fight with a new signing, it looked quite silly
BearWithFish, Scoring 50 goals in France isnt the same as scoring them in La Liga or EPL. Im sure Neymar will get 50 goals sometime in France because the level of football there is pretty bad and PSG are miles ahead of most Ligue 1 teams.
Zlatan was good, but he moved to Paris near the end of his career.
Imo the only way Neymar can reach CR7/Messi's level is if he manages to win UCL consistently with PSG,

2014-2015 when Messi was injured for a large part of the season, Neymar got 39 goals and 14 assists in 51 games. Not exactly 40, but you get my point. He can be the main man, but his numbers obviously will suffer with players like Messi and Suarez in front of goal as well.
Last I checked PSG didn't win the league last year. And for ligue 1 being so bad they got further in champions league than the "best league in the world" and the bundesliga teams
Why you keep saying that in League 1 the level of football is pretty bad? Then why all the europeans clubs are after the players from League 1 ?
Lol Vaaz fair enough this summer break is getting to me as well - but fortunately the pre season has been much better than previous years, some good football to watch before the real games begin
A name that's starting to creep up in the transfer rumor mill: Leander Dendoncker.
You might remember him from the Europa League last season, he scored against us with Anderlecht. A 22 y/o DM with an eye for goal, could be one to keep watch for.

I remember him, bit of pace, cannon of a foot. Don't think this is the right environment to get players like him. We need consistency, he needs matches and time to develop.
Went to DC from Atlanta to catch the game.
It's my second time watching United and the first time in the states.
The best part is that not only got to see my team also the 3 best fronts in the world. Amazing experience. 80,000 ppl yessss

Good for you and glad you enjoyed the occasion. Just curious did we also lose the other match you watched live haha
haha, my first game was in Europe and it was just an EPL home game against some s**t team. We won it convincingly a few years back when we had the best manager in the world. It was SAFs last season as long as I remember.
Who would be our next signing
1) Matic
2) Dier
3) Perisic
4) Bale
5) Neymar
6) None of the above
Common woody give us some good news:)

Yeah it's scary to think we Will not get anyone else which will be a huge setback.
It will be the same squad as last season without Zlatan but Lukaku in his place. I can't call it as a solid upgrade over last season's squad.. Need woody to pull some one out of a hat, the season starts pretty soon

Right on the money Vaaz. I am also a bit concerned that who ever we bring now has missed our preseason already which for sure won't make Mou happy.
Maybe we haven't backed our manager fully in this transfer window yet and Mou will feel after delivering 3 trophies he deserves better. Interesting times ahead we can for sure turn things around in the next couple weeks but hopefully no panic buys.
