Netflix has ordered a new series from “Simpsons” and “Futurama” creator Matt Groening, Variety reports. Abbi Jacobson of “Broad City” will voice the main character. Eric Andre and Nat Faxon are also in the cast. Entitled “Disenchantment,” the animated comedy is described as “an adult fantasy about a crumbling medieval kingdom known as Dreamland.” The show follows the adventures of “a hard-drinking princess Bean, her elf companion Elfo, and her ‘personal demon’ Luci.” It’s set to air in two 10-episode batches with a premiere targeted for next year. “‘Disenchantment’ will be about life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders and wizards and other jerks tell you,” Groening said in a statement.
