Quite Ugly One Evening

Christ, what's Paisley-speak for "Super Caley go ballistic, Celtic are atrocious"?

Is it black cab time for Mowbray? All eyes will be on April 10th. Ross County get a result and Mowbray will get his cards sooner than later.

Just for your information, the last time St Mirren beat Celtic in the league - September 9th 1989 - this heap of mind-numbing garbage was number one:

It took me twenty years to forget that song. For re-lodging that bastard song in my head, Mowbray definitely needs to go.

The cup is half full but it will be on someone else's shelf this year

Further to this report doing the rounds on the internet in the last few days, I think it's important to put a positive spin on today's mishap.

Think of it as less a 1-0 defeat in the cup, and more of a 7-1 mauling over two legs.

There you go. Just added an extra eight years to my life.

Another eight years of Celtic not winning away in the Champions League; another eight years of not finding an mp3 of Flesh's 'Sentimental Sunday' on the internet; and another eight years of telling myself 'I'll start reading Don Quixote' tomorrow'.

After the watershed

I know it's through a glass darkly but don't you think that Billy Mehmet looks a wee bit like Henrik Larsson in the pic?

I think what makes me think that way is the combination of the bald head and the joyous expression on his face after his team have gubbed R*ngers.

Brings back happy memories.
