Biography

Josie Delap writes about British home affairs for The Economist. She holds a BA in Arabic and French from Cambridge University and an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from Oxford University. Josie joined The Economist in 2008 as an assistant editor on the website before going on to edit The Economist‘s country briefings and was more recently the online Middle East and Africa editor. She has written for the New York Times, the New Republic and Arab Media and Society.
