This headline:

Conservatives say Trudeau’s Rolling Stone cover jeopardizes NAFTA talks

Is not satire. I thought it was. It wasn’t.

The Conservative Party of Canada is serious. They are seriously saying that NAFTA is jeopardized by Justin Trudeau appearing in…Rolling Stone.

The Conservatives are accusing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of putting the NAFTA talks in danger by appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in an article that portrays him as the anti-Donald Trump.

See? They weren’t kidding.

Now, you may react the way Lisa and I did. Her: “You’re joking. They didn’t say that.” Me: “This is the stupidest fucking thing a political party has ever said in the history of the world.”

Or, you may say: “That makes perfect sense, what the Conservatives said. Can you now pass me that bucket full of LSD, so I can drink even more of it?”

Whatever your point of view, here’s one headline that is also not satire. You’re welcome.

“Justin Trudeau re-elected PM in tenth straight majority win”

Lisa and me were just visiting the Saskatchewan Legislature this afternoon, and we ran into a very amiable young fellow who gave us a personal tour. Quite knowledgeable guy, too. I think he might be considering a career in politics.

Donald Trump wouldn’t.  This morning, he tweeted – without the Pentagon’s prior knowledge – that transgender soldiers like this one wouldn’t be allowed in the U.S. armed forces.

He did that, of course, because he is going to lose the health votes and wants to change the channel.  Of course.

But it is still a hateful, despicable move by a vile little man, one who is wholly unfit to clean Sgt. Logan Ireland’s boots.

One year ago today, says Facebook. Very proud to work for her in three states last Summer.

She is the real president. She won with three million more votes, and it is now indisputablly clear that her vile Republican opponent cheated with the assistance of a foreign power.

2017: what a shit year.

Here’s a picture of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls booth at the Assembly of First Nations in Regina.

It’s closed. No literature. What a bloody disgrace, as one hereditary chief said.

I say it’s getting time for some ministerial resignations.

Um, off by about six months, folks
