In jurisprudence in the Commonwealth realms, the Crown dependencies, and any of a realm's provincial or state sub-divisions, the Crown is the state in all its aspects, though the term is not only a metonym for the State.
The Crown is a corporation sole that represents the legal embodiment of executive, legislative, and judicial governance. It developed first in the Kingdom of England as a separation of the literal crown and property of the nation state from the person and personal property of the monarch. The concept spread through English and later British colonisation and is now rooted in the legal lexicon of the other 15 independent realms and the three Crown dependencies. In this context it should not be confused with any physical crown, such as those of the British royal regalia.
The term is also found in expressions such as crown land, which some countries refer to as public land or state land, as well as in some offices, such as minister of the crown, crown attorney, and crown prosecutor (other terms being district attorney, state prosecutor, or public prosecutor).
The Late Show may refer to:
Crown may refer to:
Pathé News was a producer of newsreels, cinemagazines, and documentaries from 1910 until 1970 in the United Kingdom. Its founder, Charles Pathé, was a pioneer of moving pictures in the silent era. The Pathé News archive is known today as British Pathé. Its collection of news film and movies is fully digitised and available online.
Its roots lie in 1896 Paris, France, when Société Pathé Frères was founded by Charles Pathé and his brothers, who pioneered the development of the moving image. Charles Pathé adopted the national emblem of France, the cockerel, as the trademark for his company. After the company, now called Compagnie Générale des Éstablissements Pathé Frère Pt'honographes & Cinématographes, invented the cinema newsreel with Pathé-Journal. French Pathé began its newsreel in 1908 and opened a newsreel office in Wardour Street, London in 1910.
The newsreels were shown in the cinema and were silent until 1928. At first they ran for about four minutes, and were issued biweekly. Even though during the early days the camera shots were taken from a stationary position, the Pathé newsreels captured events such as Franz Reichelt's fatal parachute jump from the Eiffel Tower, and suffragette Emily Davison's fatal injury by a racehorse at the 1913 Epsom Derby.
The Real refers to that which is authentic, the unchangeable truth in reference both to being/the Self and the external dimension of experience, also referred to as the infinite and absolute—as opposed to a reality based on sense perception and the material order.
For Jacques Lacan, the order of the real is not only opposed to the imaginary but is also located beyond the symbolic. Unlike the symbolic, which is constituted in terms of oppositions such as "presence" and "absence", there is no absence in the real. The symbolic opposition between "presence" and "absence" implies the possibility that something may be missing from the symbolic, the real is "always in its place: it carries it glued to its heel, ignorant of what might exile it from there." If the symbolic is a set of differentiated signifiers, the real is in itself undifferentiated: "it is without fissure." The symbolic introduces "a cut in the real," in the process of signification: "it is the world of words that creates the world of things." Thus the real emerges as that which is outside language: "it is that which resists symbolization absolutely." The real is impossible because it is impossible to imagine, impossible to integrate into the symbolic order. This character of impossibility and resistance to symbolization lends the real its traumatic quality.

We’re looking at the moments from the Netflix series that the show did get right despite the criticism for embellishing and sensationalizing for entertainment's sake. These are the facts that were genuine. Queen Elizabeth did in fact serve in the royal army. It is true that Prince Phillip was upset that Elizabeth would not take his name. It is also true the way Elizabeth learned of the King’s death. The bath scene with Winston Churchill seems made up but writers behind the show claim to have found record of this odd habit in an old documentary. The Crown Jewels was a BBC Documentary first broadcast in the 1980 s, and rare to find it on the internet. Also aired in Canada and the States. Very interesting, and well done. The history of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II is highlighted And the importance and pageantry of the crowning of a new monarch.
Watch out!
The night is magic, metal-electric
Your mind goes manic, wild and satanic
600 souls of blasphemy, tonight we set the power free
In flashing lights and violent sound
Where bodies rain and faces scream!
God Shock! Devil Lust!
Electric night
Come and let those fuckin' demons out now!
Let it out! Come let yourself go! Go insane!
Driven to insanity, I am what you think
Adrenaline rush, going totally blind
Energy, aggression, mayhem and chaos
Harder and faster, ain't gonna give in
An explosion of deathnoise, a shockwave of power
This is the way we take our revenge!
God Shock! Devil Rock!
Electric storm
Come and let it blow your mind away now!
Blasting at motorspeed, like iron angels on the lead
Loudest shit you've ever heard
Yeah... the screaming out the soul inside
No future baby... we're going down
But I'll always remember those electric nights
God Shock! Demon Rush!
Electric mind
Come and let the Devil in now honey!
Let Him in!
And let's raise some Hell tonight!
Hell tonight... let it burn!
Let Him in!
And let's raise some Hell tonight!
Hell tonight... let us fuckin' burn!
