Pierced with sorrow at the remembrance of Your sufferings, the contemplation of the Cross, and the thought of the outrages and contempt lavished by ungrateful souls upon Your dear Blood, I long, O my Jesus, to bring joy to Your Heart, and to make You forget my sins, and those of the whole world, by consecrating my body and soul to Your service. I desire, my Jesus, to live henceforth, only by Your Blood and for Your Blood. I now choose It as my greatest treasure and the dearest object of my love. O merciful Redeemer, deign to regard me as a perpetual adorer of Your Most Precious Blood, and be pleased to accept my prayers, my deeds and my sacrifices, as so many acts of reparation and love. Heavenly Wine, giver of purity and strength, pour down upon my soul. Make of my heart a living chalice from which grace shall constantly flow on those that love You, and especially on poor sinners that offend You. Teach me to honour You and to make You honoured by others. Give me power to draw to You cold and hardened hearts, that they may feel how infinitely Your consolations surpass those of the world. O Blood of my Crucified Saviour, detach me from the world, and the spirit of the world. Make me love suffering and sacrifice, after the example of St. Catherine of Sienna, who loved You so much [and whom I choose again today as my special patroness]. O Precious Blood, be my strength amid the trials and struggles of exile. Grant that at the hour of death I may be able to bless You for having been the comfort and the sanctification of my soul, before becoming, in Heaven, the everlasting object of my love and praise. Saints of God, who owe thy happiness to the Blood of Jesus; Angelic spirits, who sing Its glory and power, august Virgin, who to It owest the privileges of thine Immaculate Conception and Divine Maternity, help me to pay to the Precious Blood of my Redeemer a perpetual homage of adoration, reparation and thanksgiving. Amen. Conscious, merciful Savior, of my nothingness and of Your sublimity, I cast myself at Your feet and thank You for the many proofs of Your grace shown unto me, Your ungrateful creature. I thank You especially for delivering me by Your Precious Blood from the destructive power of Satan. In the presence of my dear Mother Mary, my guardian angel, my patron saint, and of the whole company of heaven, I dedicate myself voluntarily with a sincere heart, O dearest Jesus, to Your Precious Blood, by which You have redeemed the world from sin, death and hell. I promise You, with the help of Your grace and to the utmost of my strength to stir up and foster devotion to Your Precious Blood, the price of our redemption, so that Your adorable Blood may be honored and glorified by all. In this way, I wish to make reparation for my disloyalty towards Your Precious Blood of love, and to make satisfaction to You for the many profanations which men commit against that precious price of their salvation. O would that my own sins, my coldness, and all the acts of disrespect I have ever committed against You, O Holy Precious Blood, could be undone. Behold, O dearest Jesus, I offer to You the love, honor and adoration, which Your most Holy Mother, Your faithful disciples and all the saints have offered to Your Precious Blood. I ask You to forget my earlier faithlessness and coldness, and to forgive all who offend You. Sprinkle me, O Divine Savior, and all associated with me, my family tree, my associates, my community and this nation with Your Precious Blood, so that we, O Crucified Love, may love You from now on with all our hearts, and worthily honor the price of our salvation. Amen. We fly to thy patronage, O holy Mother of God; despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.
