What a party trick! Katy Perry sends Sunrise's wildlife handler into fits of laughter
The global pop singer was treated to a meet-and-greet with a giant python, Komodo dragon and a cuddly wombat on the set of Seven's Sunrise on Saturday.
And Katy Perry decided to show off a bizarre hidden talent while pre-recording segments for her co-hosting addition of the breakfast show to air on Monday.
The Roar hit-maker, 32, made a hilarious Komodo dragon impersonation as she puffed her neck in and out on camera.
Sunrise presenter David 'Kochie' Koch appeared to be standing a few feet behind the star, as she edged closer to the reptile. 'See that thing right there? I can do it too,' she said as she pointed to the way it was breathing in the hands of the khaki-wearing tamer.
'You're actually better at it than him,' the handler said as he, and the rest of the cast and crew, burst into laughter.
She joked 'stay with us folks' down the camera, while captioning the clip: 'single forever.'
The Firework singer initially looked a tad uneasy as the animal wrangler from the Australian Reptile park presented her with the Komodo dragon on a leash.
The handler laughed as he held the creature aloft while Katy sported a look of mild concern.
Katy's fear soon turned to inquisitiveness as she got closer to the giant lizard.
If the Komodo dragon gave Katy the creeps, it was nothing compared to the reaction she gave after the animal handler brought a giant python onto the stage.
Katy looked genuinely terrified as she was confronted with the gargantuan snake, with two handlers required to hold up its massive body.
The Swish Swish singer looked to be on the verge of tears as she came face to face with the slithering serpent.

Wildlife
Wildlife traditionally refers to non-domesticated animal species, but has come to include all plants, fungi, and other organisms that grow or live wild in an area without being introduced by humans.
Wildlife can be found in all ecosystems. Deserts, forests, rain forests, plains, grasslands, and other areas including the most developed urban sites, all have distinct forms of wildlife. While the term in popular culture usually refers to animals that are untouched by human factors, most scientists agree that much wildlife is affected by human activities.
Humans have historically tended to separate civilization from wildlife in a number of ways including the legal, social, and moral sense. Some animals, however, have adapted to suburban environments. This includes such animals as domesticated cats, dogs, mice, and gerbils.Some religions have often declared certain animals to be sacred, and in modern times concern for the natural environment has provoked activists to protest the exploitation of wildlife for human benefit or entertainment.

What a party trick! Katy Perry sends Sunrise's wildlife handler into fits of laughter
The global pop singer was treated to a meet-and-greet with a giant python, Komodo dragon and a cuddly wombat on the set of Seven's Sunrise on Saturday.
And Katy Perry decided to show off a bizarre hidden talent while pre-recording segments for her co-hosting addition of the breakfast show to air on Monday.
The Roar hit-maker, 32, made a hilarious Komodo dragon impersonation as she puffed her neck in and out on camera.
Sunrise presenter David 'Kochie' Koch appeared to be standing a few feet behind the star, as she edged closer to the reptile. 'See that thing right there? I can do it too,' she said as she pointed to the way it was breathing in the hands of the khaki-wearing tamer.
'You're actually better at it than him,' the handler said as he, and the rest of the cast and crew, burst into laughter.
She joked 'stay with us folks' down the camera, while captioning the clip: 'single forever.'
The Firework singer initially looked a tad uneasy as the animal wrangler from the Australian Reptile park presented her with the Komodo dragon on a leash.
The handler laughed as he held the creature aloft while Katy sported a look of mild concern.
Katy's fear soon turned to inquisitiveness as she got closer to the giant lizard.
If the Komodo dragon gave Katy the creeps, it was nothing compared to the reaction she gave after the animal handler brought a giant python onto the stage.
Katy looked genuinely terrified as she was confronted with the gargantuan snake, with two handlers required to hold up its massive body.
The Swish Swish singer looked to be on the verge of tears as she came face to face with the slithering serpent.
