UCI race classifications

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the world's governing body in the sport of bicycle racing, classifies races according to a rating scale.

The rating is represented by a code made of two or three parts and indicates both the type or style of race (the first part), and its importance or difficulty (the second and third parts). The first part can be an integer or an abbreviation, and the second part, when present, are usually integers. Both parts are separated by a period or decimal point (.).

A higher rated race will result in the successful riders receiving more world ranking points.

Road racing

The first part of the codes to rate a road race is '1' for a one-day race, and '2' for a multi-day (stage) race. They are separated from the second part of the classification, the ranking, by a decimal point. 'HC' (beyond categorization, from French hors catégorie) is the highest ranking category, followed by '1' and then '2'. For example, a race rated 1.1 equates to a one-day, category 1 race.

CJ E&M Corporation (Hangul: 씨제이이앤엠 주식회사; RR: CJ E&M Jusikhoesa), formerly O Media Holdings Limited (Hangul: (주)오미디어홀딩스; RR: Jusikhoesa O Midieo Holdingseu) is a South Korean entertainment and media contents company. It is a subsidiary of the CJ Group.

History

2010 - O Media Holdings was founded as a merger of the following companies: CJ Media, On-Media, Mnet Media, CJ Entertainment, CJ Games, CJ Internet, and the media division of CJ O Shopping.

2011 - Changed company name to CJ E&M (CJ Entertainment and Media)

CJ E&M currently has four main divisions, namely:

CJ E&M Broadcasting Division (Hangul: CJ E&M 방송사업부문; RR: CJ E&M bangsongsa yeobbumun) - owner of cable television channels

CJ E&M Film Division (Hangul: CJ E&M 영화사업부문; RR: CJ E&M yeonghwasa yeobbumun) - producer and distributor of movies and some TV dramas

CJ E&M Music Performance Division (Hangul: CJ E&M 음악공연사업부문; RR: CJ E&M eum-ak gongyeonsa yeobbumun) - producer and distributor of music releases, also an agency for musicians and some actors

CJ E&M Music Performance Division

CJ E&M Music Performance Division (Hangul:CJ E&M 음악공연사업부문 CJ E&M eumak gongyeonsa yeopbumun), also known as CJ E&M Music and Live (or Music·Live) (formerly known as Mediopia Technology Corp., GM Agency Co. Ltd., CJ Music Inc. and Mnet Media Corp.), is a South Korean entertainment company headquartered in Seoul, South Korea which produces, broadcasts, distributes and provides a variety of music and entertainment. It is a subsidiary of the CJ Group. Once the home to top-selling groups such as Lee Hyori and SeeYa, its current roster of recording artists include T-ara, CNBLUE and F.T. Island.

CJ E&M Music won the "Music Distributor of the Year" trophy at the 3rd Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards in 2014.

Business

The CJ E&M Music Performance Division consists of five divisions:

Music – entertainment management (music planning and development, production and sales, concerts, etc.)

Broadcasting – variety program production, owns 2 music cable channels Mnet and KMTV.

Online music content – runs online music store Mnet.com

Team BS

Team BS is a project and a hip hop collective of La Fouine launched in 2013, and an initiative of his record label Banlieue Sale, "BS" denoting actually the record label they work in. Collective Team BS is a collaboration of Banlieue Sale acts La Fouine, Fababy, Sultan and the vocalist Sindy the latter from the French television series Popstars where la Fouine was one of the judges. Also included in the collective is the French producer Pascal Lemaire known as DJ Skalp / Skalpovich.

In 2013, the collective Team BS had a debuting charting success with the self-titled single "Team BS" (alternatively known as "Vrai frères"). The release was accompanied by a music video.

In January 2014, Team BS came up with a follow-up single "Case départ". They are working on an album to be released soon under the title Les affaires commencent.
