We’ll be celebrating the power of storytelling and raising crucial funds for 826LA’s free writing programs for kids.

Ben will be playing solo shows in Washington, DC, and New York this July. These special shows will go on sale this Friday, May 5th at 10am ET but the artist presale begins tomorrow, Wednesday, May 3rd, at 10am ET at the links below.

Just announced: A benefit show for Standing Rock & Water Protector Legal Collective. All proceeds will go to the Water Protector Legal Collective. Ben will be performing solo and the evening will also feature a reading by author Sherman Alexie and performance by singer/songwriter Naomi Wachira.

I arranged this benefit because I was appalled by Donald Trump’s executive order to reinstate construction on the Dakota Access Pipeline. I believe water is more precious than oil and thoroughly support the right of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe to defend both their land and sovereign treaty rights. All proceeds from this show will go to the Water Protector Legal Collective who continue to provide legal support for Native activists and their allies throughout this ongoing fight for justice.
