The whole album was a re-recording by the band after they had already broken up but they got together to put this record out. Guitarist Alejandro Escovedo had already left the band before the end, later to resurface with Chip and Tony Kinman (ex-Dils) in Rank & File. The San Francisco punk band was one of the opening acts, along with The Avengers, for The Sex Pistols last show (San Francisco, Winterland Ballroom, January 14, 1978). The Nuns have since re-formed and are based in New York City as a goth band.
