Palencia was born and raised in Oklahoma. As a child, Palencia lived in Honduras until she was 4. Throughout her childhood she went back and forth between La Ceiba, Honduras and Owasso, Oklahoma. Her brother, Gino Palencia, works at Funimation as an ADR engineer and production assistant.
Palencia eventually settled in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 2002. Palencia (Spanish pronunciation: [paˈlenθja]) is a city south of Tierra de Campos, in north-northwest Spain, the capital of the province of Palencia in the autonomous community of Castile and León. The municipality had a population of 81,522 in 2011.
Palencia lies in the north of the central Spanish plateau, the Meseta Central, in the middle of the Carrión river valley, near the river's confluence with the Pisuerga, which flows through the town and creating four small islands, Dos Aguas and Sotillo being the largest. Palencia is located approximately 190 km north of Madrid, and some 40 km north of the regional capital of Valladolid.
Two hills surround the city in its north-east area. On the closest stands the 30 metre high statue of Christ known as the Cristo del Otero, the fourth tallest statue of Christ in the world.
Palencia has a substantial forest of 1,438 hectares (3,550 acres) 6 km away on a plateau above the city, known locally as the "Monte el Viejo" ("Old Mount"). This park is a popular amusement area for the locals.
Anime Boston is an annual three-day anime fan convention held in the spring in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The convention is the 6th largest North American anime convention as of 2015. Anime Boston was created and is run by the New England Anime Society, Inc., a Massachusetts-based non-profit organization.
The convention features a number of events which include a masquerade, an anime music video contest, video programming rooms, an artists' alley and art show, karaoke, game shows, video games, RPGs, and a LARP.
The first Anime Boston was held in 2003 at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, as was the 2004 convention. By Anime Boston 2005, the convention had moved to the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston Hotel. Since then, the convention has continued to be held at the convention center and adjoining hotels with attendance seeing steady growth to 14,339 people (or 35,224 turnstile) in 2008. That year also saw Japanese rock stars The Pillows finish up the east coast leg of their American tour at Anime Boston. In 2009, the convention saw the attendance rise to over 15,000 people for the first time, and the attendees who got tickets at the convention for the concert got to see Kalafina for their first-ever North American performance. Attendance jumped again to over 17,000 attendants in 2010. Nobuo Uematsu made an appearance at the convention, with the Video Game Orchestra, a Boston-based 90-piece orchestra that performs video game music with an orchestra, choir, and rock band.

The manga series was licensed for an English language release in North America & the United Kingdom by Viz Media and in Australia by Madman Entertainment. The anime series was licensed by 4Kids Entertainment for an English-language release in North America, before the license was dropped and subsequently acquired by Funimation in 2007.
Black Butler (Japanese: 黒執事, Hepburn: Kuroshitsuji) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yana Toboso. Since its debut on September 16, 2006, it has been serialized in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly GFantasy.
The series follows Ciel Phantomhive, the thirteen-year-old (as of chapter 14) head of the Phantomhive family, an aristocratic family known as the Queen's Watchdog, and tasked with solving crimes in London's underworld. Ciel has formed a contract with Sebastian Michaelis, a demon who has taken on the disguise of Ciel's butler, to seek revenge against those who killed his parents and resulted in him being kidnapped and tortured. In exchange for Sebastian's service, he will be allowed to consume Ciel's soul. The series has been licensed by Yen Press in North America and published in Yen Plus' August 2009 issue for the magazine's first anniversary.
A 24-episode anime adaption, directed by Toshiya Shinohara and produced by A-1 Pictures, aired from October 2008 to March 2009. The second season, Kuroshitsuji II, aired in 2010 spanning 18 episodes with two new main characters, Alois Trancy and Claude Faustus, following the aftermath of the first season. This series was the anime's own adaptation and did not feature in the manga. A live action film adaptation was released in Japan on January 18, 2014. A third anime series, titled Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus, was broadcast between July 10 and September 12, 2014. A two-part theatrical OVA titled Kuroshitsuji: Book of Murder screened in Japanese theaters on October 25, and November 15, 2014. Toonami Faithful got the chance to talk to Brina Palencia about One Piece's departure from Toonami, what to expect from Tokyo Ghoul, and My Hero Academia's potential to air on Toonami. See what she had to say at Anime Boston! (Also we apologize for the audio. The microphone port on C.J's camera broke and did not realize until after the convention).
Brina was singing to J. Micheal Tatum at opening ceremonies of Anime Central the thirteenth. He's really scared of clowns. Sorry for the shaking.
English dub VA Brina Palencia in her role as Misa Ichijou from the anime The Rolling Girls. This (from episode 8) was arguably the highlight of the entire series and Ms. Palencia does a spectacular job.
