Ailsa may refer to:
Ailsa Craig (/ˈeɪlsə/; Scottish Gaelic: Creag Ealasaid) is an island of 99 hectares (240 acres) in the outer Firth of Clyde, 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from mainland Scotland, upon which blue hone granite was quarried to make curling stones. The now uninhabited island is formed from the volcanic plug of an extinct volcano.
The island, colloquially known as "Paddy's milestone", was a haven for Catholics during the Scottish Reformation in the 16th century, but is today a bird sanctuary, providing a home for huge numbers of gannets and an increasing number of puffins.
The island is owned by Archibald, Marquess of Ailsa, but since May 2011 has been up for sale. By March 2013 the asking price was for offers over £1,500,000, down from the original asking price of £2,500,000.
An early reference to the rock is made by Sir Donald Monro, Archdeacon of the Isles who referred to the rock as "Elsay" in the 16th century. The modern name of the island is an anglicisation of the Gaelic, Aillse Creag meaning "fairy rock". An alternative Gaelic name is Creag Ealasaid meaning "Elizabeth's rock". The first element, Aillse may represent Allt Shasann, "cliff of the English", mentioned in the Book of Leinster as Aldasain.

Plot: In 1915 Australia, German prisoners of war, as well as Aussies of German heritage, are kept in camps. This creates many animosities toward the authorities, but in this account the camp is very relaxed in its discipline... enough that one of its prisoners, a violinist, is able to fall in love with one of the local Australian women.

Trip from Girvan to Ailsa Craig which sits approx. 10 miles off the coast of South West Scotland in the Firth of Clyde. Ailsa Craig is a bird sanctuary but more famous for its granite which is used to make ice curling stones. These is also a little footage of a basking shark seen on the journey back from the island.

Elle est seule sur le sol
Coulant sous l'alcool
Le vernis se craquelle
Sous l'idole
Se poudrer le faciès
Enrober de soie
Ce qui blesse et qu'on laisse
Derrière soi
Idéaliser
Un passé brisé
Pas réaliser
Qu'il n'est plus là
Idéaliser
Juste supposer
Qu'elle a tout osé
Et lui poser
Un dernier baiser
Un baiser
Ses bas ont défilé
Dans toutes les nuits blanches
Blanche-neige exhibée
Aux archanges
Il neige sur Downtown
Fin des seventies
Le temps, c'est de l'automne
Sans surprise
Idéaliser
Un passé brisé
Pas réaliser
Qu'il n'est plus là
Idéaliser
Se faire une beauté
Retourner la scène
Viser
L'aller sans retour
Le saut dans le vide
La petite club-kid
N'aime plus le jour
Idéaliser
Juste supposer
Qu'elle a tout osé
Et lui poser
