Hello, I'm on an Easter break but I can say that we'll never hear why that airplane and it's passengers had to disappear. On Ukraine, the co-opted /controlled western media will warmonger on command, servants of the military/security complex as they are. Oddly most top military brass are most reluctant to engage their boys and toys, preferring to keep them scratch free and the industry agrees because the expensive shit they sell might be useless in action..

Gabriel Le Mar is one of the high profile musicproducers and lives and works in Frankfurt/Germany. He is bringing together different musical styles such as Dub, Techno and "electronic leftfield music", which you can hear in his productions. Gabriel was born in Germany, the son of Greek parents, and grew up in Berlin. One of his starprojects together with Electrolux brother Alex Azary and Michael Kohlbecker is Saafi Brothers  ....N'Joy

There is only one project that was able to speed up fantasies of BlueRoom/UK- Saafi Brothers. Inspired by his annual travels to India, Gabriel Le Mar starts a collaboration with Frankfurt-based producer Michael Kohlbecker on researching unknown spiritual flight-zones in exotic club sound environments. Saafi Brothers quickly make their way into the hearts of music lovers. The debut LP Mystic Cigarettes and the following second LP Midnight’s Children on the well known British label BlueRoom Rel./UK reached cult status worldwide.  "Mystic Cigarettes" came out on the well known british label BlueRoomRel./UK. With the internationally successful and today classic album the project consisting of Frankfurt/Germany based producers Gabriel Le Mar, Michael Kohlbecker, Alex Azary and Groovetitan immediately placed itself among the first row of the international ambient and electronic scene. Tracks from the album have been released on numerous compilations, the extracted 12" ³Internal.Code.Error.930" featured a remix by british techno/dub project Bandulu and became a club hit. After a long tour with numerous live and dj sets (a.o. TribalGathering/UK, Roskilde/DK) Saafi Brothers returned to the studio in 2000 and delivered their second longplayer on BlueRoom/UK, "Midnight´s Children". The album represented another perfect demonstration of the Saafi-style made up of the will to experiment and a feeling for the combination of different influences between West and East.

With their unique sound of deep vibes and dubby influences, Gabriel Le Mar and Michael Kohlbecker made a little revolution on their own and kept releasing their music. In 2003 as well the third album of Saafi Brothers, "Liquid Beach" on Saafi Rec./EFA came out. The album also received good reviews (heavy rotation in Raveline) and became no. 1 at the offical "German Chill Out album charts" DCOC and toured in europe with the live band. Gabriel Le Mar and Saafi Brothers, both play their live-sets with computer, FX and controllers. In accordance to their versatility as producers, their dj sets also cover a wide spectrum of electronic music: both will take us on a trip through a variety of "4-2-the-floor-styles" from "deep and minimal TechHouse" to "energetic soulful Techno" on the decks, merging his own productions into one mix together.

In 2007 Saafi Brothers hit a perfect balance of electrodub with their 4th album "Supernatural". they put together a unique blend of riddims and synthesis with an emphasis on live sound manipulations, deep basslines and "dub-wise grooves".
Supernatural is the fourth album of producer/artists Saafi Brothers - the album is produced with an emphasis on live sound manipulations and fat bass lines laying down deep and dub-wise grooves. Saafi Brothers latest album Live on the Roadblog was released on iboga records in Febr 2014. Music and ideas and the interaction process will always go on, the Saafi Brothers tell us a lot of stories. With “Live on the Roadblog” they walk a deep line between ambientdub orientation and blissed out beats. Luca Anzilotti, George DIN and Rikta join Gabriel Le Mar, Michael Kohlbecker and Groovetitan for the production.

Sleepless-faced on music Saafi Brothers digged deep into a series of "live recording sessions", rediscovering the emotional depth of "real-time created music" after a couple of live shows that fueled the idea of creating an entirely live recorded album. In a jammin´ good time it becomes more and more developing into something more meaningful, working with lyrics and create moments. The result is the organic flow and deepness in "Live on the Roadblog", linking the message like secret friends on the road.

2014 launches the first free download track "Moving Crossraods" from Saafi Brothers, their podcast and in February their new album "Live on the Roadblog" on Iboga Records. With Live on the Roadblog Saafi Brothers walks a deep line between ambientdub orientation and blissed out beats. Luca Anzilotti joins Gabriel Le Mar, Michael Kohlbecker and Groovetitan for the production.

What an absolute classic this is. Equal parts Goa trance, ambient, dub, house, atmospherics, Kohlbecker and Le Mar created an all-time classic for the ages that is spiritual, mellow, beautiful, trippy and orgasmic. The second album is also exceptional. I really can't recommend this record enough, it has barely aged and is never boring. It is perfect for just sitting back and chilling out any time and is interesting enough to keep your attention on the music as well. All of the songs sound very organic and catchy. Along with The Infinity Project's "Mystical Experiences" and the first Shpongle album, this album forms the holy trinity of Goa's chill room.

Midnight's Children is a 1980 book by Salman Rushdie that deals with India's transition from British colonialism to independence and the partition of India. It is considered an example of postcolonial literature and magical realism. The story is told by its chief protagonist, Saleem Sinai, and is set in the context of actual historical events as with historical fiction. It's been made into a film in 2012, however in 2000 it inspired the Saafi Brothers in making this album.

After a long tour with numerous live and dj sets in clubs and at festivals (a.o. TribalGathering/UK, Roskilde/DK) the Saafis returned to the studio in early 2000 and by the end of that year delivered their 2nd longplayer on Blue Room Released, Midnight´s Children. The album represented another perfect demonstration of the Saafi-style made up of the will to experiment and a feeling for the combination of different influences between west and east. The extracted 12" "Into Deep" Pt. 1+2 found the way into many record bags of club- and radio-djs all over Europe. Midnight's Children again is a futuristic pleasure, the everflowing modulating sound structures in such perfect shape from one mood to another, that listening to the 72 minute long CD for someone who engages fully on the artificial music becomes a really short stay auditory journey. Dub, Ambient, Techno and again between shining through ethno elements form flawless to composed  arrangements ...... revolution in silence....

....A lot of the material here has a deceptive sense of duality. On one had, the music would be ideal for chilling out at home - or tripping depending on your poison. At the same time, there's enough hustle happening that the material is eminently danceable. That juxtapose is at work on a cut like "Sunchild," a tribal number with an enveloping density but persistent and chugging beat. Again on "Lovin' Music," with its deeply twisted vocals and great percussion, and the title album track, "Liquid Beach." The album is rounded off with two different mixes of the morning trance-tinged "Metapop." Liquid Beach is a fantastic destination boasting a soundtrack of trance, dub, downtempo, dance and sun-kissed psychedelics......
