Ever since she accidentally announced her pregnancy to the world via a Snapchat that wasn't intended to be made public, shared that she shopped for maternity garb at Target and admitted that her pregnancy was a complete surprise, Serena Williams has been refreshingly candid and relatable in her pregnancy "journey".
Okay maybe the nude - and glorious! - Vanity Fair cover lensed by Annie Liebovitz was an exception...

But the latest addition to the genre that is Serena Williams, champion tennis player and pioneer (just ask Andy Murray), and her relatable pregnancy is a tweet in which she revealed that she, like many other ungainly pregnant women, was finding it difficult to roll over in bed.
Any tips on how to turn over at night? 😰I'm having trouble from going from my left ....to my right.... to my left side. 🤰🏾

Which is both comforting for pregnant women such as myself who are finding themselves beginning to struggle with things like getting up off the couch without grunting "oof" or tying ou shoelaces, but also a little distressing, no? For if Serena Williams, whose serve is 206.4 km/h, can't roll herself over, then what hope for the rest of us?
The internet seemed caught in this conundrum.
Advice included general 'you can do it, gurl' type motivation.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Practical advice from mothers who had Been There.
Oh goodness, I remember those days. My key was to roll onto my back first, then rest for a minute before rolling to the other side.

Turning is tough. get a good pregnancy pillow to help u stay on your side & take pressure off back. Mine looked like a horseshoe. Was great!

A body pillow was helpful. Not sure if hip pain has hit yet, but prenatal yoga helped ease it a bit. You got this superwoman!

Summing up exactly what a lot of mums-to-be are feeling: if not possible for Serena, then how? Just another entrant into the cannon of pregnancy/motherhood anxieties, I guess?
