Lisburn (/ˈlɪz.bərn/ or /ˈlɪs.bərn/) is a city in Northern Ireland, UK. It is 8 miles southwest of Belfast, on the River Lagan, which forms the boundary between County Antrim and County Down. Lisburn forms part of the Belfast Metropolitan Area. It had a population of 71,465 people in the 2011 Census.
Formerly a borough, Lisburn was granted city status in 2002 as part of Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee celebrations. It is the third-largest city in Northern Ireland. Lisburn is one of the constituent cities that make up the Dublin-Belfast corridor region which has a population of just under 3 million.
The town was originally known as Lisnagarvy (also spelt Lisnagarvey, Lisnegarvey, Lisnegarvy, Lisnegarvagh or Lisnagarvagh) after the townland in which it formed. This is derived from Irish Lios na gCearrbhach, meaning "ringfort of the gamesters/gamblers".
Northern Ireland (Irish: Tuaisceart Éireann [ˈt̪ˠuəʃcəɾˠt̪ˠ ˈeːɾʲən̪ˠ]; Ulster Scots: Norlin Airlann) is a constituent unit of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the northeast of the island of Ireland. It is variously described as a country, province, region, or "part" of the United Kingdom, amongst other terms. Northern Ireland shares a border to the south and west with the Republic of Ireland. In 2011, its population was 1,810,863, constituting about 30% of the island's total population and about 3% of the UK's population. Established by the Northern Ireland Act 1998 as part of the Good Friday Agreement, the Northern Ireland Assembly holds responsibility for a range of devolved policy matters, while other areas are reserved for the British government. Northern Ireland co-operates with the Republic of Ireland in some areas, and the Agreement granted the Republic the ability to "put forward views and proposals" with "determined efforts to resolve disagreements between the two governments".
Our Town is a 1938 three-act play by American playwright Thornton Wilder. It tells the story of the fictional American small town of Grover's Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens.
Throughout Wilder uses metatheatrical devices setting the play in the actual theatre where it is being performed. The main character is the stage manager of the theatre who directly addresses the audience, brings in guests lecturers, fields questions from the audience, and fills in playing some of the roles. The play is performed without a set and the actors mime their actions without the use of props.
Our Town was first performed at McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey in 1938. It later went on to success on Broadway and won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It remains popular today and revivals are frequent.
The Stage Manager introduces the audience to the small town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, and the people living there as a morning begins in the year 1901. Professor Willard speaks to the audience about the history of the town. Joe Crowell delivers the paper to Doc Gibbs, Howie Newsome delivers the milk, and the Webb and Gibbs households send their children (Emily and George, respectively) off to school on this beautifully simple morning.
A documentary made for college about the empty shops in Lisburn. Interviews with members of the public and a shop owner. Was supposed to say thanks at the end, not thaks, my first documentary and I make a typo, bummer. I can't even edit it cause it's over 1000 views. Let's forgive me this time.

Originally a route for farmers to drive cattle to Smithfield Market, today the Lisburn Road is packed with designer label boutiques, fine art galleries, gourmet restaurants and chic cafés.
This is pretty much all there is to Lisburn, starting in the suburbs, making my way to the city centre and then on to the park.

Experience the surprise factor of the food and beverage scene in Belfast when you are surrounded with amazing restaurants and fresh produce. Check it out at St George’s Market. The market has been operating since 1604 and in the early 19th century it became a major trading hub. In 1997 St George’s underwent a transformation, taking it to a new level of providing fresh food, crafts, entertainment and a variety of goods on sale.
Osbournes!
Ha ha ha ha ha!
Aie aie aie aie aie aie!
Ozzy puts bats down his throat
Real different people live in his home
"Cosby, he's not," you complain
"He's burned out from drugs and forgets his own name!"
Censors soon start bleeping, "What did he just say?"
I know enough to tell it's not a statement of faith
I know enough to tell Ozzy may need saved
Let's go
I've listened to Priest and I've listened to Crüe
I've watched Alice Cooper get saved out of booze
One person's addictions can ruin his soul
But Jesus saved Alice, so you never know
Metal groups still screaming. Why are we so tame?
They're going off the trail, but thy ain't insane
They're going off the trail, 'cause we're lazy brains
Why don't we think 'bout Romans 1 through 3
You gotta listen to God's Word
Yeah, yeah
There was a cola war and Ozzy succumbed
He'll sell Mr. Bubble when MTV's done
Lately, I just am not scared
The devilish Ozzy -- he just isn't there
Maybe he's not really who and what you claimed
I know what Ozzy says but he may still change
