Misericordia [Turin Session] was recorded in Italy on Sept 2015 and is a collaboration between shamanistic Bon spiritualists Phurpa from Russia and experimental drone and field recordings Italian act Mare Di Dirac, fronted by Lorenzo Abattoir.
The overall album drowns you in a meditative tantric soundscape consisting of Alexey Tegin’s deep gutteral vocal vibrations (rgyud-skad) or ‘tantric voice‘ and Lorenzo Abattoir’s dark ambient field recordings and sound effects. Organic sounds are produced by bells, gongs, chimes and traditional hand-made instruments created from human bone and animal remains, resonating a background ambience of calm and prayer.
This very intimate and powerful recording showcases the soul wrenching effects that take hold and the artists ability to shake the foundations of the human subconscious through ritualistic and meditative performance.

SUTCLIFFE JUGEND – S L A V E S
These past few years have been a busy hive of activity for Sutcliffe Jugend with the release of some really intriguing albums and captivating live aktions. It was during this period that saw the band develop and progress into a more mature sound and style. Through the creative implementation of complex structures and new sound elements, they have evolved into genre defying styles, while still not losing elements of the old PE strain of harshness of sound and lyrics. It was also during this period that S L A V E S was conceptualised, developed and slowly realised. From 2012, this album was already in the making. It was only after numerous edits and re-workings that this 6 CD album was finally deemed complete and good to go for final production and eventual release.
S L A V E S consists of 6 parts defined by ‘Theatres’. These 6 separate but highly relevant chapters put the entire album into the context of an abstract dance performance ‘THEM’ displayed at the Centre Pompidou, Paris in 2012. Each disc contains uniquely different themes that revolve around distinctive sound environments with varying ambience. With occasional and minimal overdubs over the entire 56 tracks, the complex sound layers are arranged such that they weave in and out of the subconscious, narrating closely the fluid movements of the dancers.
Overall, this release ‘was conceived with the intent of capturing very different elements of the Sutcliffe Jugend sound, grouped both conceptually and stylistically.’ S L A V E S was intended to remind us about how we are all passive slaves to our slowly evolving tastes, and ultimately doomed to fail in our struggle with life and ultimately death. This full length LP release completes the collaborative process between 2 highly esteemed noise projects: Serbian Harsh Noise act Creation Through Destruction and England’s notorious and anonymous noise terrorists Nihilist Assault Group/The New Blockaders; with the earlier project being The New Blockaders & Creation Through Destruction “Negative Mass” 12″ (4iB007).
Much effort was involved in the production of this release as the original sound frequencies were deemed impossible to be cut on vinyl. After much roadblocks, the audio content (for vinyl) was finally realized, all painstakingly managed through effective mastering and readjustments of the erratic fluctuations of extremely high frequencies. There is very minimal compromise to the original sound source and the entire full length tracks on both sides are delivered in it’s true ear screeching and brain busting layers of sonic brilliance. Blast this to its optimum levels to bring about further satisfaction to the inner psyche, and enjoy being submerged in an aural sea of discordant bliss.

This long awaited full length album is a solo release by prolific experimental & harsh noise artist Richard Ramirez, who works under many aliases like Werewolf Jerusalem and Black Leather Jesus (just to name a few), and is one of the earliest purveyors of the Houston experimental noise scene. This album contains 2 tracks which start off quite abrasively and immerses you straight into a sonic environment consisting of heavy distortion of varying noise frequencies. Subtle elements of low frequency drone interweaves within the complex layers of low to high range noise, which gradually build up into a climaxing finale of male sexual energy.
