As long as citizens are fine with living under the class rule of capitalists and landlords, they will, by extension, be fine with having borders around the governing political State. Open borders is naive liberal hogwash under class rule. Building a wall is a waste of labour time. If citizens really want to stop illegal immigration from occurring, they need to demand that employers who hire illegal immigrants face five year prison terms. If every worker in the U.S.A. had to have a valid passport to be legally hired, this political problem would disappear.

The rule of the people was sublated when class rule became the norm. The point is for the people to establish a classless industrial democracy today. Of course, they will meet resistance from authoritarians of all stripes, including cheerleaders for capitalist democracy like Blondie.
