Taylor Reuben Hicks (born October 7, 1976) is an American singer who won the fifth season of American Idol. Hicks got his start as a professional musician in his late teens and performed around the Southeastern United States for well over the span of a decade, during which he also released two independent albums. Upon winning Idol, he was signed to Arista Records, under which his self-titled major label debut was released on December 12, 2006. His energetic stage performances and influences derived from classic rock, blues, and R&B music had earned him a following of devout fans, who have been dubbed the "Soul Patrol." He performed on Broadway in 2008 and on national tour in 2009 in Grease playing Teen Angel, the role originated by Alan Paul. The new CD, The Distance, was released March 10, 2009, with the first single, "What's Right Is Right", going to AC adds January 27, 2009. The second single was confirmed to be "Seven Mile Breakdown" via his Myspace page. In May 2011, Taylor Hicks opened ORE Drink and Dine restaurant in Birmingham, Alabama’s Crestline Park. Birmingham Magazine readers voted ORE as Birmingham’s “Best New Restaurant” in the fall of 2011. ORE Drink and Dine re-opened as Saw's Juke Joint, a barbecue and live music bar, on October 30, 2012. On June 14, 2011, Taylor Hicks performed at Bama Rising: A Benefit Concert For Alabama Tornado Recovery at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center. According to Billboard, the Bama Rising benefit concert raised an estimated $2.2 million for Alabama tornado relief efforts. On August 30, 2012, Taylor Hicks performed "Takin' It to the Streets" at the closing night of the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.

Taarak Mehta

Taarak Mehta is an Indian columnist, humorist, writer and playwright who is best known for the column Duniya Na Undha Chasma in the Gujarati language. He has translated and adapted several comedies into Gujarati, and has been well-known figure in the Gujarati theatre.

The humorous weekly column first appeared in Chitralekha in March 1971 and ever since has been looking at contemporary issues from a different perspective. He has published 80 books, over the years, three books are based on the columns he wrote in Gujarati newspaper, Divya Bhaskar while rest were compiled from the stories in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

In 2008 SAB TV, a popular entertainment channel in India, started a show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that is based on his column, and soon it became the flagship show of the channel.

Personal life

Taarak Mehta comes from a Jain family. He lives in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where he moved in 2000, with his second wife, Indu, of over 30 years. His first wife, Ila who later married Manohar Doshi, (died 2006), also stayed in the same apartment building. He has daughter from his first marriage, Ishani, who stays in US, and has two children, Kushaan and Shailee.

Baal Veer

Baal Veer is an Indian children's television series on SAB TV, which began on 8 October 2012 and airs Monday through Friday evenings. The series has starred Dev Joshi as Baal Veer in stories about a supernatural boy's adventures in both the fairy and human world.

Plot summary

The show is about Baal Veer (Dev Joshi) a supernatural boy. The initial stories showed (Rukhsar Rehman) as Maa Pari has enthroned Bahuroopi Pari (Karishma Tanna /Shruti Seth) making her the Rani Pari. Baalveer confrontations with the evil fairy Bhayankar Pari (Shama Sikander) who wishes to become the queen. Bhayankar Pari, tries to become Rani Pari but is defeated by Baal Veer.Baal Veer lives undercover as the human boy Ballu who is close friends are the human children . Manav (Rudra Soni) and Meher (Anushka Sen) are often troubled by Montu . but Baal Veer comes to their rescue.

(Sudeepa Singh) A New Rani Pari come in pari lok and New Bhayankar Pari (Shweta Kawatra) came but Bhayankar pari was killed by Daityani. (Reshmi Ghosh) Dathyani was killed by Mahavinashani.

Sharry Mann

Sharry Mann is a Punjabi singer and writer. He was born on 12 September 1982 in Mohali in the house of Sardar Balbir Singh and Sardarni Harmel Kaur. He has one sister and one brother. He basically belongs to V.P.O. Ghal Khurd (Nehran) Distt. Firozepur. Maan did his matriculation in Mohali. After completing his matriculation there, he did his senior secondary schooling in SGGS Sr. Secondary school, sec 35 chandigarh. Sharry has completed his civil engneering from Rode Lande College, Moga. After finishing his study he came back to Mohali and start doing job as a civil engineer. He is married. Sharry Mann was always very fond of music and he always sung in his free time. He started singing in parties and within gathering of friends and his friends love his songs and his voice, they encouraged him to become a professional singer. But at that time Sharry never thought to choose singing as his career.

Music career

Prince has created wonders with by breaking all previous records for an unsigned Punjabi singer on the internet. Swiftly becoming one of the most talked about names in the Punjabi music industry, Sharry Mann took the opportunities of the internet and YouTube to new heights in 2010. Sharry first came to light after his tracks were leaked via the web namely 'Kudiyan Te Bussan' which attracted a lot of attention. His step to stardom took place when he released his first produced single 'Yaar Anmulle'. Yaar Anmulle has been written by Chandigarh Engineering (Landran) student Babbu alias Akashdeep Singh. The music for the song has been provided by Nick (Sarvpreet Singh Dhammu) from Canada. Till 'Yaar Anmulle', Sharry remained unsigned, however inevitably he was approached by Ruby & Dinesh of Speed Records to release an album including his smash hit tracks.His latest album is coming in this spring 2015
