Thailand: Transgender beauty pageant heats up Pattaya
Transgender beauties donned their most stunning outfits ahead of Miss Tiffany's Universe annual beauty contest in the Thai beach town of Pattaya Friday. The 2014 edition of the transgender cabaret show and beauty pageant will have 30 contestants competing for a grand prize of 120,000 Thai baht (€2,671/$3,705) and a car.
Miss Tiffany's Universe is an open platform for transgender people to show off their talent, and for the promotion of increased acceptance of transgendered people in society.
Transgendered people are more accepted in Thai society than in some countries. Family members of many of the contestants at the Miss Tiffany's Universe pageant attended in support of the contestants.

I filmed these Thai Ladyboys at a beer bar on Walking Street. It was the open beer bars near the entrance to Ibar and Insomnia Nightclub in Pattaya Thailand. I believe this bar is called Cowboy Bar or Country Bar.
The Thai people use the term Kathoey (Ka-Toy) to describe a ladyboy. The word Kathoey can also be used to describe an effeminate gay male in Thailand.
Ladyboys have become a popular sight for tourists travelling to Thailand in recent years. Ladyboys even have TV shows dedicated to them.
Thailand has 2 types of ladyboys. Pre-Op and Post-Op. Pre-Op is a ladyboy who still has a penis. A post-op ladyboy has undergone gential reassignment surgery (GRS) in which the penis is removed and vagina is "created". Most of the ladyboys have no desire to undergo the full GRS.
Ladyboys have a reputation for being aggressive due to the medications they are on that alter there hormone levels. I have not any trouble with ladybioys. Sometimes when you are walking late at night or down a street with a Pattaya Ladyboy bar, a ladyboy might block your path and try and grab you on the cock, or maybe even steal your wallet. Always be polite, smile, keep one hand on your wallet, say no thanks and keep walking. This is my approach and i have never had any trouble with a ladyboy.
If you were to tell a Kathoey to fuck off and start calling them a faggot or abusing them, this will trigger them to see red and go off there brains. Ladyboys always have other ladyboy friends near by ready to defend there mates if they need to. Even though they might look like a girl, remember it is still a man and they can get very angry and quickly.

Miss Tiffany's Universe
Miss Tiffany's Universe (Thai: มิสทิฟฟานี่ยูนิเวิร์ส) is a beauty contest with transgender contestants, held in mid-May, in Pattaya in the Kingdom of Thailand. It has taken place annually since 2004.
The Miss Tiffany’s Universe contest held once a year is receiving more attention especially since it is broadcast live on National Thai television with an average of 15 million viewers. Thailand use this pageant to promote Pattaya as a resort city and to improve Pattaya’s image abroad.
Tiffany’s Show also take part into charity events for the less fortunate within the local community and to support The Royal Sponsored AIDS Foundation; a charity program. The goal of this contest is to promote Pattaya as an international tourist destination and to show the beaches of Pattaya bay.

Trans woman
A trans woman (sometimes trans-woman or transwoman) is a transgender person who was assigned male at birth but whose gender identity is that of a woman. The label of transgender woman is not always interchangeable with that of transsexual woman, although the two labels are often used in this way. Transgender is an umbrella term that includes different types of gender variant people (including transsexual people).
Overview
Assigned sex refers to the assigning or naming of the sex of a baby, usually based upon the appearance of external genitalia.
Gender identity refers to a person's private sense of, and subjective experience of, their own gender. This may be different from the sex that the person was assigned at birth.
"Transition" refers to the process of adopting a social and personal identity that corresponds to one's own sense of the gendered self, and may or may not include medical intervention (hormone treatment, surgery, etc.), changes in legal documents (name and/or sex indicated on identification, birth certificate, etc.), and personal expression (clothing, accessories, voice, body language).

I filmed these Thai Ladyboys at a beer bar on Walking Street. It was the open beer bars near the entrance to Ibar and Insomnia Nightclub in Pattaya Thailand. The 2014 edition of the transgender cabaret show and beauty pageant will have 30 contestants competing for a grand prize of 120,000 Thai baht (€2,671/$3,705) and a car.
Miss Tiffany's Universe is an open platform for transgender people to show off their talent, and for the promotion of increased acceptance of transgendered people in society.

I grew up in Thailand so I do have friends that are also transgender. To me they are cool human beings & those who know me personally know that I am not the type of person that judge people from their appearance but personality always. I don't care how beautiful you are on the outside but if your ugly in the inside then your just ugly to me in general. I even know some people that are not just local but foreign friends that have dated transgenders as a personal choice. Anyways this video is for foreign people that are curious & I can see from my youtube analytics it shows demographically a lot of westerners from the USA & Australia search up this topic. I filmed these Thai Ladyboys at a beer bar on Walking Street. It was the open beer bars near the entrance to Ibar and Insomnia Nightclub in Pattaya Thailand. I believe this bar is called Cowboy Bar or Country Bar. The Thai people use the term Kathoey (Ka-Toy) to describe a ladyboy. Transgender beauties donned their most stunning outfits ahead of Miss Tiffany's Universe annual beauty contest in the Thai beach town of Pattaya Friday. The 2014 edition of the transgender cabaret show and beauty pageant will have 30 contestants competing for a grand prize of 120,000 Thai baht (€2,671/$3,705) and a car.
Miss Tiffany's Universe is an open platform for transgender people to show off their talent, and for the promotion of increased acceptance of transgendered people in society.
Transgendered people are more accepted in Thai society than in some countries. Family members of many of the contestants at the Miss Tiffany's Universe pageant attended in support of the contestants.

Always be polite, smile, keep one hand on your wallet, say no thanks and keep walking. This is my approach and i have never had any trouble with a ladyboy.
If you were to tell a Kathoey to fuck off and start calling them a faggot or abusing them, this will trigger them to see red and go off there brains. Ladyboys always have other ladyboy friends near by ready to defend there mates if they need to. Even though they might look like a girl, remember it is still a man and they can get very angry and quickly.
