GMN is well known in the recreational market as the leader in advancing satellite data speed and services. GMN's primary product is XGate, aka Oceans Mail, GSMPCS Speedmail, and Iridium AxcessPoint Mail and Web. Redport is the brand name for a range of maritime routers for commercial business. Older, legacy phones can be used with the Optimizer via a USB adapter. Over Ethernet, the optimizer supports VBroadband and VGAN devices. It offers mid-file restart whenever a connection is lost, saving time, data usage and money. Since XGate creates a wi-fi hot-spot, the difficulty of installing USB drivers is eliminated. When you receive an email, your satellite phone also gets an SMS (text) message that notifies you that an email has arrived. XWeb blocks all advertising, strips out backgrounds and animations, compresses images by 10 times, blocks pop-ups, compresses text, and re-renders the page, providing 3 to 5X web browsing acceleration, even up to 10X. Users can adjust compression levels, and even view the unmodified pages, if desired. For VGAN, Fleetbroad, and Iridium OpenPort users, XWeb is a must-have. Speed acceleration is impressive, and compression provided by XWeb cuts your data usage fees by 30% to 50%, or even more. XGate includes a GPS repeater, and uses GPS data for vessel tracking. You can use any satellite device to access tracking from your computer. The Optimizer supports tracking using the GPS that's built-in to the satellite terminals, so it can be used for tracking without having anything else connected to it.
