This is the Moment is a song by Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse, and is the centerpiece of Frank Wildhorn and Steve Cuden's musical Jekyll & Hyde. Actors from the Broadway production like Robert Cuccioli, René Froger and David Hasselhoff sing it in the key of E.
"This is the Moment" is sung by Jekyll before he tests his formula on himself. In stage performances, the set typically transitions at this point between Jekyll's living room and his laboratory. When the song ends, Jekyll is in his laboratory, ready to test the formula.
There were a few changes in the lyrics of the song comparing the concept version and the actual version.
While in the concept lyrics, Jekyll sings:
"This is the day, Just see it shine, When all I've lived for, Becomes mine!"
In the actual version, he sings:
"This is the day, See it sparkle and shine, When all I've lived for, Becomes mine!"
The part in the concept version, when he sings:
"This is the moment, This is the hour, When I can open up tomorrow Like a flower, And put my hand to, Everything I planned to, Fulfill my grand design, See all my stars align!"

Ryan Lewis (born March 25, 1988) is an American DJ, musician, record producer, videographer, photographer, graphic designer and music video director, born in Spokane, Washington. Along with producing his own album titled Instrumentals, Lewis produced the albums The VS. EP (2009) and The Heist (2012). In 2006, Lewis befriended rapper Macklemore on MySpace and soon after became the behind-the-scenes partner of a successful duo, producing, recording, engineering and mixing all of the duo's music, as well as directing the music videos for "Same Love", "Thrift Shop", "And We Danced", "Otherside (Remix)", "Can't Hold Us", "Irish Celebration", "My Oh My", "Victory Lap", " Downtown " and "White Walls" and designing promotional graphics.
Ryan Lewis was born on March 25, 1988 to Julie and Scott Lewis. Lewis has two sisters, Teresa and Laura, four years and two years older than him, respectively. At an early age, he played guitar in rock bands, and nursed a growing interest in music production around the age of 15. He attended Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle. He graduated from the University of Washington majoring in Comparative History of Ideas.
The Joker is Wild was the second album released by Alex Harvey after the demise of The Soul Band. The album was released in 1972. Some time after 1972 the album The Joker Is Wild was reissued and repackaged, the album song listings stayed the same, but the album was credited as being made by "The Sensational Alex Harvey Band" even though this band did not exist at the time, and the title was changed to This Is.
The album was recorded at Regent Sound Studio, London in early 1972. These songs are unfinished demos only, recorded for a Spanish singer named Tony Caldeira (who wrote "The Joker Is Wild" and "Silhouette and Shadow"). Alex was teaching Tony vocal delivery and phrasing. Alex received a cheque for the session which subsequently bounced. The producer, Paul Murphy, sold the tapes to Metronome Records in Germany and they issued the LP as The Joker Is Wild in 1972. This Is SAHB is a low budget reissue of "Joker" intended to cash in on SAHB's success (even though Zal, Chris, Ted and Hugh weren't involved with the recordings). The photo of SAHB on the sleeve features keyboard player John Martin on the far left.
"Can't Hold Us" is a song by American hip hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis from their debut studio album The Heist (2012). Featuring singer Ray Dalton, it was released as the second single from the album on August 16, 2011.
The song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making it their second number-one hit in the United States. It is also their third consecutive number-one single in Australia. It is considered a sleeper hit.
The radio edit cuts out portions of the introduction, as well as the extended bridge section and an alternate beat during the last chorus, replacing them with an introduction from Dalton and a clapping beat. The beat is similar to their live performances of the song. The song is in the key of E minor with a tempo set at 146 beats per minute.
The music video was nominated for Best Music Video at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in 2014. The song was also listed as "The Most-Streamed Song of 2013" by Spotify.
"Can't Hold Us" was generally well received by music critics. Lewis Corner of Digital Spy gave the song four stars out of five, praising its "infectious, soul-soaked piano line and beats more vibrant than Rio de Janeiro's finest carnival floats". Writing for The Edge, Hannah Mylrea rated the song 9/10 and complemented the duo's dynamism, deeming it "another massive summer hit".AllMusic's David Jeffries also gave it four stars on five and wrote: "Macklemore & Ryan Lewis combine the handclapping, foot-stomping, and propulsive rhythms of old-fashioned gospel music with an infectious, uplifting chorus that could have been ripped straight out of will.i.am's playbook...this motivational, "this is the moment" number is identifiably and lovably Macklemore."

Good Quality track from the musical Jekyll and Hyde
And now there is no choice
I must put a side
The fear that feels inside
There is no place to hide
So it comes to this
One great and golden chance
That's only I can take
When everything I fought for is at stake
To make the mark
That's only I can make
This is the moment
This is the day
When I send all my doubts and demons
On their way
Every endeavor
I have made ever
Is coming into play.
Is here and now today
This is the moment,
This is the time,
When the momentum and the moment
Are in rhyme
Give me this moment
This precious chance
I'll gather up my past
And make some sense at last
This is the moment
When all I've done
All of the dreaming,
Scheming and screaming
Become one
This is the day
See it sparkle and shine
When all I've lived for
Becomes mine
For all these years,
I've faced the world alone,
And now the time has come
To prove to them
I've made it on my own
This is the moment
My final test
Destiny beckoned,
I never reckoned
Second best
I won't look down
I must not fall
This is the moment,
The sweetest moment of them all
This is the moment
Damn all the odds
This day, or never,
I'll sit forever
With the gods
When I look back,
I will always recall,
This was the moment,
Moment for moment,
The greatest moment,
