This film is derived from Colin Legg's outstanding night sky timelapse footage, commissioned for the ANCIENT SKIES project, and shot with fisheye and flat lenses in Western Australia in late 2010.
It was edited and rendered to 2.38:1 aspect ratio, and was our entry for the 'Widescreen Weekend' event as part of the Bradford International Film Festival 2011, with a digital print built by Alex Hibbitt of Arts Alliance Media.
The soundtrack by Toby Marks of BANCO DE GAIA was specially written and performed for the film, with some minor re-mixing by Grant Wakefield.
The title is from the Aboriginal Yolngu langauge meaning 'Sun Woman - Moon Man.'
A 2k Digital Cinema DCP print of this film is available on request.

Wakefield is a city in West Yorkshire, England, on the River Calder and the eastern edge of the Pennines, which had a population of 76,886 in 2001.
Wakefield was dubbed the "Merrie City" in the Middle Ages and in 1538 John Leland described it as, "a very quick market town and meately large; well served of fish and flesh both from sea and by rivers ... so that all vitaile is very good and chepe there. A right honest man shall fare well for 2d. a meal. ... There be plenti of se coal in the quarters about Wakefield".
The Battle of Wakefield took place in the Wars of the Roses and it was a Royalist stronghold in the Civil War. Wakefield became an important market town and centre for wool, exploiting its position on the navigable River Calder to become an inland port.
In the 18th century, Wakefield traded in corn, coal mining and textiles and in 1888 its parish church acquired cathedral status. It became the county town and seat of the West Riding County Council in 1889 and the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Council from 1974 until it was dissolved in 1986.

Bryan Cranston
Bryan Lee Cranston (born March 7, 1956) is an American actor, voice actor, screenwriter, director and producer. Cranston is best known for portraying Walter White in the AMC crime drama series Breaking Bad, Hal in the Fox comedy series Malcolm in the Middle, and Dr. Tim Whatley in the NBC comedy series Seinfeld. For Breaking Bad, he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series four times (2008–2010, 2014), including three consecutive wins (the second time in television history after Bill Cosby in I Spy during the 1960s). After becoming one of the producers of Breaking Bad in 2011, he also won the award for Outstanding Drama Series twice.
Cranston was also nominated three times for the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Malcolm in the Middle. His role in Breaking Bad also earned him five Golden Globe nominations and one win in 2014, nine Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations with four wins, and six Satellite Awards nominations with four wins. In June 2014, he won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Lyndon B. Johnson in the play All the Way on Broadway. He will reprise his role in the upcoming HBO television film of the same name. For the 2015 film Trumbo, he received widespread acclaim and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.

Jennifer Garner
Jennifer Anne Garner (born April 17, 1972) is an American actress and film producer. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Garner began her acting career by starring in theatre productions and television shows before making her feature film debut in the comedy Dude, Where's My Car (2000). Following a supporting role in Pearl Harbor, Garner gained recognition for her performance as CIA officer Sydney Bristow in the ABC spy-action thriller drama series Alias, which aired for five seasons from 2001 to 2006. For her work on the series, Garner won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, and received three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
While working on Alias, Garner gained a cameo role in Catch Me if You Can (2002), followed by a praised leading performance in the romantic comedy drama 13 Going on 30 (2004). Garner has appeared in supporting as well as lead roles in the 2000s including the superhero film Daredevil (2003), the romantic comedy fantasy film 13 Going on 30 (2004), the superhero film Elektra (2005), the comedy-drama Juno (2007), and the fantasy romantic comedy film The Invention of Lying (2009). In the 2010s, she appeared in the fantasy comedy-drama film The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012), the biographical drama Dallas Buyers Club (2013), and the family comedy film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2015).

Steven Wilson
Steven John Wilson (born 3 November 1967) is an English musician and record producer, most associated with the progressive rock genre. Currently a successful solo artist, he became known as the founder, lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the band Porcupine Tree, as well as being a member of several other bands. He has also worked with artists such as Opeth, King Crimson, Pendulum, Jethro Tull, XTC, Yes, Marillion, Orphaned Land and Anathema.
Wilson is a self-taught producer, audio engineer, guitar and keyboard player, playing other instruments as needed, including bass guitar, autoharp, hammered dulcimer and flute. He currently lives in Hemel Hempstead, the town he grew up in, but has also spent time living in London and Tel Aviv, Israel, although he does not hold a residence in Tel Aviv anymore.
His music has received wide acclaim. He has been four times nominated for the Grammy Awards, twice with Porcupine Tree, with his collaborative band Storm Corrosion and as a soloist on one occasion. In 2015, he received three awards at the London Progressive Music Awards for his services to the world of progressive rock music and crowned "the king of prog rock".

A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. Films may be of recent date and, depending upon the festival's focus, can include international and domestic releases. Some festivals focus on a specific film-maker or genre (e.g., film noir) or subject matter (e.g., horror film festivals). A number of film festivals specialise in short films of a defined maximum length. Film festivals are typically annual events. Some film historians do not consider Film Festivals as official releases of film, like Jerry Beck. The best known film festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the latter being the largest film festival worldwide, based on attendance. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest major festival. The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.

This film is derived from Colin Legg's outstanding night sky timelapse footage, commissioned for the ANCIENT SKIES project, and shot with fisheye and flat lenses in Western Australia in late 2010. It was edited and rendered to 2.38:1 aspect ratio, and was our entry for the 'Widescreen Weekend' event as part of the Bradford International Film Festival 2011, with a digital print built by Alex Hibbitt of Arts Alliance Media. The soundtrack by Toby Marks of BANCO DE GAIA was specially written and performed for the film, with some minor re-mixing by Grant Wakefield. The title is from the Aboriginal Yolngu langauge meaning 'Sun Woman - Moon Man.' The motion controlled timelapse material was photographed during the production of the 'TIME FLIES' video for PORCUPINE TREE's 2009 album 'THE INCIDENT.' To match the pacing of the song, many of the shots were accelerated by director / editor Lasse Hoile. They are presented here at their original capture speed for the first time. This film was premiered at the 'Widescreen Weekend' event at the 2010 Bradford International Film Festival. A custom 2k - 2.38:1 aspect DCP print was built by Alex Hibbitt of Arts Alliance Media, and is available on request, pending approval by the music copyright holders. It invites visitors to experience mirror existences of themselves taking upon new roles as sources of energy and kinetic disturbance within a virtual ecosystem, to experience extended space as a different form of augmented alternative reality. This film is derived from Colin Legg's outstanding night sky timelapse footage, commissioned for the ANCIENT SKIES project, and shot with fisheye and flat lenses in Western Australia in late 2010.
It was edited and rendered to 2.38:1 aspect ratio, and was our entry for the 'Widescreen Weekend' event as part of the Bradford International Film Festival 2011, with a digital print built by Alex Hibbitt of Arts Alliance Media.
The soundtrack by Toby Marks of BANCO DE GAIA was specially written and performed for the film, with some minor re-mixing by Grant Wakefield.
The title is from the Aboriginal Yolngu langauge meaning 'Sun Woman - Moon Man.'
A 2k Digital Cinema DCP print of this film is available on request.

Little is known of this civilisation, and its people have all but vanished without trace. All that is left are their remnants, and they too, in the crush of ‘progress’ are disappearing.
Photographed throughout the UK and Ireland, and set to an original 5.1 music score by Thorsten Quaeschning (of Tangerine Dream and Picture Palace Music), REMNANTS captures the essence and austere beauty of these sites, suggests and reveals their purposes, and poses an important question to our own contemporary position.

The River Den (or La Tannière) has custom-made asymmetrical windows, a classic ship's wheel, antique fireplace, and hand-built furniture — all of which give the boat a warm and cozy feel that makes you feel at home as soon as you step on board. The tiny houseboat was designed by Bonnie and her boatbuilding friend, Denis Tremblay, who is known locally as the Wakefield Pirate. Denis and a few of his friends built the boat by hand, including the aluminum frame and the custom windows, the cabinets, and the grill floor in the loft.
The boat is built on 5 pontoons that are designed to provide flotation while still taking on some water to keep the boat weighed down in the water for stability. The pontoons are also designed to freeze in the ice and are made by a local company called Les Quais Navigables (http://www.quaisnavigables.com).
It's a 4-season house boat that is fully insulated and has an antique wood burning fireplace to provide heat in winter. For power, they installed a deep cycle marine battery that provides 12-Volt power for the lights, bilge pump, and navigation lights. They have a Separett composting toilet from Sweden (https://www.separett-usa.com), and a sink that pumps water from the river for washing dishes. For refrigeration, Bonnie uses a cooler with ice, but she might invest in some solar panels so that she can power a proper fridge eventually.
The main floor has a kitchen, toilet, dining room and living room, and upstairs there is cozy a sleeping loft with a grill floor that allows heat to rise through the floor, and sun & dust to travel down to the main level. One of the windows in the loft opens up onto a gorgeous rooftop patio with a cedar deck and has space for some solar panels if/when Bonnie decides she needs them.
The boat has a gas motor and can be taken out on the river which is quite impressive considering it's size! To make sure the boat was still road worthy, they built a wedge roof over the loft that can be taken apart if Bonnie wants to transport it to a different location. The boat is currently docked in the quaint little town of Wakefield, Québec where there are cute cafes, restaurants and shops right across the street.

This is the second video in my Canadian Safe Location Series for the Pole-Shift and the After-Time. In this video I cover Alberta and Saskatchewan: two provinces that seem to similar but are different in good ways for the After-Time. These two provinces handle the PS well and are excellent locations for the AT, but both provinces have series issues you need to be aware of. Please watch both sections on each province as each section has information that also applies to the other.
