Whether its vintage or retro garage rock, if I like it I'm not shy about saying so. Check out some of the newer records and what have you that have crossed the Garage & Beat desk recently.

IT'S ALL GOOD!!

The Martini Kings

Brothers Frank and Tony Marisco are The Martini Kings. They play lounge exotica music with all the vim and verve of the old masters, Les Baxter, Martin Denny and Arthur Lyman. I went nuts recently and picked up all ten of their CDs as well as a DVD they were involved with called "Camp Burlesque." Don a fez and some island wear, pour yourself a fruity aduly beverage and read all about The Martini Kings!

There has never been a better time to check out all the wonderful CDs on British Cooking Records... so what are you waiting for? Adventure awaits when you click below to check out releases by Bangers and Mash, the Tuffies and a few other odds and ends

The Neanderthals

. A few months ago I put my feelers out, looking for some amateur writers to tell me about three albums that they love, but which the average person would consider trash. I received some interesting replies. We all have guilty pleasures, but some of us should be downright shamed by our repulsive tastes. Here is the first installment of...

Rotten Records and the Losers Who Love Them
