Just because it's winter doesn't mean you can't keep swimming, with 17 out of Brisbane City Council's 22 pools heated and open for business.
From the north to the south, east to the west and the inner city, here's a guide on where to swim throughout Brisbane the winter pool season, which runs up until September 15.
All council pools are participating venues of the Royal Life Saving Queensland's Keep Watch @ Public Pools program, which aims to increase children's water safety through parental supervision.
