Best known for her work in Step Brothers and her recent turn as President Montez on Veep, Andrea Savage comes to us with a new show, created by and starring herself. The new series, I’m Sorry, follows her intersecting lives as a comedian, writer, wife, and mother. The title comes from Savage’s character’s knack for wandering into embarrassing and revealing situations.

To mark the start of her new show, The A.V. Club had Savage answer questions submitted by readers and Savage’s fans. In her Q&A session, we learn the inspiration for the “rectal prolapse” conversation in the pilot for I’m Sorry and discover her true feelings toward Judy Greer.

I’m Sorry premieres on tonight, Wednesday July 12, at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central time, on TruTV.
