TJM's unique and innovative load carrying mount system (patent pending) separates the extreme winching and dynamic strap recovery loads from the air bag compatible crumple zones required for compliance. The team from TJM Sunshine Coast held a fantastic 4x4 Drive Weekend up at Kenilworth, two hours northwest of Brisbane on Queensland's Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Camping at the town of Kenilworth, we headed out each day in a big long convoy of between twenty and thirty 4WD vehicles, and went exploring in the national parks and forestry plantations in the surrounding area.
Day one was seemingly challenging with ruts, mud, and numerous creek crossings. And while it seemed hectic at the time, day two was set to make day one feel like a skip down to the candy store. Once back at camp after the first day of tracks, Simon and Jase from All 4 Adventure joined the camp, sharing stories and checking out people's various campers and caravans—plus they were put in charge of judging the campfire cooking competition, where several winners received prizes. There was also a charity raffle that raised a fantastic $420 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)!
Day two started with the steepest, slipperiest hill climb we've ever attempted ... and considering it was almost too steep to walk up (which we did with camera in hand to capture the LandCruiser that was stuck three-quarters of the way up!) we were more than impressed when our Prado made it all the way to the top in one go! From there we encountered steep downhills, rocky hill climbs, a few more creek crossings, and about a billion freshly hatched butterflies filling the view everywhere we looked.
Once again we'd like to thank TJM Sunshine Coast for organising the event and taking us on a guided off-road tour of Kenilworth. We're very much looking forward to the next one!

To prove the strength of the built-in Recovery Points on a TJM FPS, TJM conducted a field test of the Rated Recovery Points on a TJM equipped 2015 PXII Ford Ranger. This Ranger has an Outback Bar which comes equipped with 8,000kg Rated Recovery Points and is made from high strength carbon steel.
TJM's unique and innovative load carrying mount system (patent pending) separates the extreme winching and dynamic strap recovery loads from the air bag compatible crumple zones required for compliance. Through clever design the TJM mount system directs the severe recovery loads to the strongest part of the chassis without affecting the airbag compatibility to ensure maximum safety for the driver and their family.

The team from TJM Sunshine Coast held a fantastic 4x4 Drive Weekend up at Kenilworth, two hours northwest of Brisbane on Queensland's Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Camping at the town of Kenilworth, we headed out each day in a big long convoy of between twenty and thirty 4WD vehicles, and went exploring in the national parks and forestry plantations in the surrounding area.
Day one was seemingly challenging with ruts, mud, and numerous creek crossings. And while it seemed hectic at the time, day two was set to make day one feel like a skip down to the candy store. Once back at camp after the first day of tracks, Simon and Jase from All 4 Adventure joined the camp, sharing stories and checking out people's various campers and caravans—plus they were put in charge of judging the campfire cooking competition, where several winners received prizes. There was also a charity raffle that raised a fantastic $420 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)!
Day two started with the steepest, slipperiest hill climb we've ever attempted ... and considering it was almost too steep to walk up (which we did with camera in hand to capture the LandCruiser that was stuck three-quarters of the way up!) we were more than impressed when our Prado made it all the way to the top in one go! From there we encountered steep downhills, rocky hill climbs, a few more creek crossings, and about a billion freshly hatched butterflies filling the view everywhere we looked.
Once again we'd like to thank TJM Sunshine Coast for organising the event and taking us on a guided off-road tour of Kenilworth. We're very much looking forward to the next one!
