ONYX is set to bring its debut Ibiza season at Space to a close next Monday, September 12.
It’s been a dark and techno-fuelled three months, featuring the likes of Surgeon & Lady Starlight, Benjamin Damage and Rebekah. You can stream the latter artist’s set from the party here.
The final ONYX night features one of its strongest line-ups yet, with Dave Clarke, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Josh Wink, Monika Kruse, Mikaela, Ron Costa and our very own Mixmag Allstars.

When Dave Seaman & Steve Parry first spoke about starting a record label together, one of their motivating factors was to create a prestigious platform on which they could also release their own productions. And so, following Steve’s massive ‘Apricity’ release earlier this year, it’s now Dave’s turn to abuse his positionof label boss and drop his own new single, ‘Nightfalls’.It’s his third outing on Selador following 2014’s brace of ‘Naughty Forest’ and ‘Justified Replacement Of Lulu’ and by sheer coincidence, also happens to be Selador’s 50th release. Anybody would think we’d planned it that way!The original production is centred around vocal flourishes from Ananda Project’s millennium classic ‘Cacades Of Colour’ and sees Dave in classic mode embracing both Techno and Tech House stylings to deliver a thoroughly modern hybrid.We then call upon three giants of the remix world to sprinkle their magic on proceedings. First up Lee Van Dowski stays pretty close to the original arrangementbut ramps up the energy levels to bursting point. Anthem alert!Next, Chymera gets all deep and sophisticated with a blissed out interpretation that has neck hairs standing to attention and shivers cascading down the spine. Heavenly doesn’t even cover it.And topping things off, new kids on the block, OC & Verde deliver a certified Tech House monster. This one goes straight for the jugular from the off and never lets up. Straight up, peak time.And with that, our 50th release comes to fruition and we’re proud as proverbial punch.Infact, we even go as far as to say we’re starting to get the hang of this labellark. Night
Night or nighttime (sp. night-time or night time) is the period of time between the sunset and the sunrise when the Sun is below the horizon.
This occurs after dusk. The opposite of night is day (or "daytime" to distinguish it from "day" as used for a 24-hour period). The start and end points of time of a night vary based on factors such as season, latitude, longitude and timezone.
At any given time, one side of the planet Earth is bathed in light from the Sun (the daytime) and the other side of the Earth is in the shadow caused by the Earth blocking the light of the sun. This shadow is called the umbra. Natural illumination is still provided by a combination of moonlight, planetary light, starlight, diffuse zodiacal light, gegenschein, and airglow. In some circumstances, bioluminescence, aurorae, and lightning can provide some illumination. The glow provided by artificial illumination is sometimes referred to as light pollution because it can interfere with observational astronomy and ecosystems.

I-GO was a Chicago-based car sharing organization owned by Enterprise Holdings. I-GO was established in 2002 by the Center for Neighborhood Technology as an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating and implementing new strategies that make urban communities more livable and environmentally sustainable. I-GO was sold to Enterprise Holdings in May 2013 and re-branded as Enterprise CarShare.
Mission
I-GO’s mission was to reduce car ownership rates, decrease transportation costs, reduce urban congestion and improve air quality in Chicago. From its inception, I-GO worked to catalyze a set of transportation innovations that make it feasible and desirable for Chicago residents to get around conveniently and economically without having to own a car and, at the same time, reduce vehicle miles traveled and greenhouse gas emissions. By contributing to the environmental improvement of the Chicago area and the decrease in expenses for residents, I-GO's triple bottom line impact provided a significant social return on investment.

Dave Seaman
Dave Seaman (born 29 April 1968) is a British dance music DJ and record producer. He was formerly a member of the DMC Publishing, and editor of music magazine Mixmag. He formed Brothers In Rhythm with Steve Anderson, doing production work for (amongst others) Pet Shop Boys and Kylie Minogue. He has since founded Audio Therapy record label. He is also well known for his releases in the famed Renaissance Masters Series' (see Renaissance (club)) and a number of releases for Global Underground. He went to school in Garforth, West Yorkshire.

When Dave Seaman & Steve Parry first spoke about starting a record label together, one of their motivating factors was to create a prestigious platform on which they could also release their own productions. And so, following Steve’s massive ‘Apricity’ release earlier this year, it’s now Dave’s turn to abuse his positionof label boss and drop his own new single, ‘Nightfalls’.It’s his third outing on Selador following 2014’s brace of ‘Naughty Forest’ and ‘Justified Replacement Of Lulu’ and by sheer coincidence, also happens to be Selador’s 50th release. Anybody would think we’d planned it that way!The original production is centred around vocal flourishes from Ananda Project’s millennium classic ‘Cacades Of Colour’ and sees Dave in classic mode embracing both Techno and Tech House stylings to deliver a thoroughly modern hybrid.We then call upon three giants of the remix world to sprinkle their magic on proceedings. First up Lee Van Dowski stays pretty close to the original arrangementbut ramps up the energy levels to bursting point. Anthem alert!Next, Chymera gets all deep and sophisticated with a blissed out interpretation that has neck hairs standing to attention and shivers cascading down the spine. Heavenly doesn’t even cover it.And topping things off, new kids on the block, OC & Verde deliver a certified Tech House monster. This one goes straight for the jugular from the off and never lets up. Straight up, peak time.And with that, our 50th release comes to fruition and we’re proud as proverbial punch.Infact, we even go as far as to say we’re starting to get the hang of this labellark. When Dave Seaman & Steve Parry first spoke about starting a record label together, one of their motivating factors was to create a prestigious platform on which they could also release their own productions. And so, following Steve’s massive ‘Apricity’ release earlier this year, it’s now Dave’s turn to abuse his positionof label boss and drop his own new single, ‘Nightfalls’.It’s his third outing on Selador following 2014’s brace of ‘Naughty Forest’ and ‘Justified Replacement Of Lulu’ and by sheer coincidence, also happens to be Selador’s 50th release. Anybody would think we’d planned it that way!The original production is centred around vocal flourishes from Ananda Project’s millennium classic ‘Cacades Of Colour’ and sees Dave in classic mode embracing both Techno and Tech House stylings to deliver a thoroughly modern hybrid.We then call upon three giants of the remix world to sprinkle their magic on proceedings. First up Lee Van Dowski stays pretty close to the original arrangementbut ramps up the energy levels to bursting point. Anthem alert!Next, Chymera gets all deep and sophisticated with a blissed out interpretation that has neck hairs standing to attention and shivers cascading down the spine. Heavenly doesn’t even cover it.And topping things off, new kids on the block, OC & Verde deliver a certified Tech House monster. This one goes straight for the jugular from the off and never lets up. Straight up, peak time.And with that, our 50th release comes to fruition and we’re proud as proverbial punch.Infact, we even go as far as to say we’re starting to get the hang of this labellark.
