Olive Oyl Voice Compare 1933-2007
Olive Oyl is Popeye's anorexic girlfriend who has appeared in a number of Popeye shorts. In her original comic strip Thimble Theatre she actually had a lot of weight on her. Olive Oyl was first voiced by Bonnie Poe who used a deep Brooklyn accent in some cartoons not all, it wasn't until Mae Questel created the voice using an impression of 1930's actress Zasu Pitts.

How can Popeye take that annoying screeching voice is beyond anyone's guess. She is not attractive and whenever her annoyingly long neck and limbs start flapping in the wind, you just feel like sawing them off with a chainsaw! She can't be cute when she has to. What do you see in her Popeye? Give her to Bluto already!
Three of them are already dead as of July 10, 1989 Monday, the cartoons produced by Hanna-Barbera between 1978 & 1983 were on television syndication at the time.

Nugget Nose (voiced by Frank Welker) is the short and feisty ghost of an Old West gold prospector who finds adventure riding his invisible horse. He is also a guardian to two teenage cowgirls – Wendy (voiced by Marilyn Schreffler) and Rita (voiced by Pat Parris) – who work at the Fuddy Dude Ranch owned by grouchy, old Fenwick Fuddy (voiced by Hal Peary). Whenever Fuddy threatens to fire the girls, Nugget makes himself invisible and becomes a helping friend. He is always battling Fuddy and takes delight in harassing him in odd and humorous ways. When the girls are in trouble, Wendy summons Nugget by rubbing on her special gold nugget necklace.

Buford and the Galloping Ghost is a 30-minute Saturday morning animated series and a spin-off of Yogi's Space Race produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions which was broadcast on NBC from September 9, 1978 to September 1, 1979.
Buford (voiced by Frank Welker) is a lazy, super sleuthing bloodhound with a mournful bark and a sharp nose for solving mysteries who lives deep in Fenokee swampland. He teams up with two teenagers – Cindy Mae (voiced by Pat Parris) and her older brother Woody (voiced by Dave Landsburg) – and the trio solves confusing mysteries that baffle Sheriff Muletrain Pettigrew (voiced by Henry Corden) and his overeager, but dimwitted deputy Goofer McGee (voiced by Roger Peltz). Buford's abilities are expanded with ears that revolve like radar dishes, and his nose responds to clues like a Geiger counter. But Buford has two weaknesses: when the moon comes out, he howls his heart out, often at the most perilous moment, and he also has a running feud with a karate-wacking raccoon.

Marilyn Schreffler (June 14, 1945 - January 7, 1988) was an American actress, who provided voice-overs for several animated TV programs, mostly for Hanna-Barbera Productions.
Schreffler was born in Concordia, Kansas, and died of liver cancer in Los Angeles County, California.

Tom Selleck
Thomas William Selleck (born January 29, 1945) is an American actor and film producer. He is best known for his starring role as the private investigator Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980–1988), based in Hawaii. He also plays Police Chief Jesse Stone in a series of made-for-TV movies based on Robert B. Parker novels. Since 2010, he has also been a primary cast member as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan in the drama Blue Bloods on CBS.
Selleck has appeared in more than 50 film and television roles since Magnum, P.I., including Three Men and a Baby, Quigley Down Under, Mr. Baseball, and Lassiter. Selleck appeared as Dr. Richard Burke on Friends, where he played the on-again, off-again love-interest of Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), and as A.J. Cooper on the TV series Las Vegas.
Early life
Selleck was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Martha Selleck (née Jagger), a housewife, and Robert Dean Selleck (d. 2001), who was an executive and real estate investor. His father was of English and distant German ancestry, while his mother was of English descent. Through an entirely paternal line Selleck is a direct descendant of English colonist David Selleck who moved to Massachusetts from Somerset, England in 1633 and through this line, Tom Selleck is the 11th generation of his family born in North America. Selleck's family moved to Sherman Oaks, California, during his childhood. Tom's siblings include brother Robert (born 1944), sister Martha (born 1953) and brother Daniel (born 1955). Selleck graduated from Grant High School, in 1962.

Nugget Nose (voiced by Frank Welker) is the short and feisty ghost of an Old West gold prospector who finds adventure riding his invisible horse. He is also a guardian to two teenage cowgirls – Wendy (voiced by Marilyn Schreffler) and Rita (voiced by Pat Parris) – who work at the Fuddy Dude Ranch owned by grouchy, old Fenwick Fuddy (voiced by Hal Peary). Whenever Fuddy threatens to fire the girls, Nugget makes himself invisible and becomes a helping friend. He is always battling Fuddy and takes delight in harassing him in odd and humorous ways. When the girls are in trouble, Wendy summons Nugget by rubbing on her special gold nugget necklace.

Buford and the Galloping Ghost is a 30-minute Saturday morning animated series and a spin-off of Yogi's Space Race produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions which was broadcast on NBC from September 9, 1978 to September 1, 1979.
Buford (voiced by Frank Welker) is a lazy, super sleuthing bloodhound with a mournful bark and a sharp nose for solving mysteries who lives deep in Fenokee swampland. He teams up with two teenagers – Cindy Mae (voiced by Pat Parris) and her older brother Woody (voiced by Dave Landsburg) – and the trio solves confusing mysteries that baffle Sheriff Muletrain Pettigrew (voiced by Henry Corden) and his overeager, but dimwitted deputy Goofer McGee (voiced by Roger Peltz). Buford's abilities are expanded with ears that revolve like radar dishes, and his nose responds to clues like a Geiger counter. But Buford has two weaknesses: when the moon comes out, he howls his heart out, often at the most perilous moment, and he also has a running feud with a karate-wacking raccoon.

And there's a line that Miles has, Step back, I take big steps. And I can just see Jim saying that today. But Jim joined the cast of Days of Our Lives, I believe in
1983. They're celebrating 50 years on the air, this year. And Jim's been with them for about 30 of those years. Of course, he's Abe Carver on the show and he left the show for a little bit, but he has come back. And he's been mayor, police chief, the commissioner of police, and everything else on there. (Deb) Well he's one of those stalwarts on the show too. And like you said that voice and everything. He has a great, commanding presence, the trust worthiness No doubt because he's a native Kansan. Let's take a look. (Frank) Oskaloosan. Jim Reynolds. Millions have been
viewers have been following the tangled storyline of soap opera Days of Our Lives for fifty years. For many of those, James Reynolds has portrayed Abe Carver, policeman, mayor, commissioner and all-around decent guy and heartthrob. The Oskaloosa native graduated high school and then joined the Marines where he worked in information services and was a
reporter for the Windward Marine. Back in Kansas, he attended Washburn and worked as a DJ at WREN Radio. He reviewed films for the Topeka Daily Capitol giving him the opportunity to interview the likes of Jack Nicholson, Michael Douglas, and Peter Fonda. He found a passion for theater and was part of the Dale Easton Players, who performed in Topeka and at the Apple Valley Playhouse. So did his close friend, Marilyn Schreffler, who paved the way to Hollywood. She and Jim shared the same theatrical agent. Marilyn appeared in several national TV commercials.
And, just before her untimely death due to cancer, she was the ghost in the inn in the Bob Newhart Show. Jim and his wife, actress Lissa Layng, own and operate the Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena. Jim heads Free State Productions, a film and TV production company involved with documentaries, movies and music videos, as well as making occasional appearances on stage in Los Angeles. He starred in Buffalo Soldier, a drama about black U.S. Army troops in the American West following the Civil War for which he was nominated for an NAACP Theatre Award. He also
starred with other Vietnam veterans in the acclaimed drama Tracers. Reynolds tours colleges in his one-man show, I, Too, Am America. The show, written and performed by Reynolds, is a commentary on the African-American experience from the time the first slaves were brought to this country up to the present day. Reynolds’ charitable work includes raising money for South Pasadena's High School basketball team and/or the Pasadena chapter of Ronald McDonald's House. Reynolds has also toured
with the USO to the Mediterranean, Kuwait and Afghanistan to meet and show support for our troops overseas. He also participated in the first USO Celebrity Education Program. One of Reynolds' greatest honors was being added to the Kansas Historical Society's list of famous Kansans. Another honor came in 2003 when Reynolds was awarded the Heroes and Legends TV/Film Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions made in the entertainment industry.
