She is considered the biggest celebrity in Argentine television. In 2002 won the INTE award for best Hispanic American TV hostess.
Her TV show was the only one that received important international stars of Hollywood and Europe.
Most of her filming career was in adult-oriented comedies, acting opposite Alberto Olmedo, Jorge Porcel, and fellow vedette Moria Casán.
Giménez has acted in over 30 films, including the cult film La Mary, and 10 plays. In 2008, Giménez launched her own magazine called Susana, published by La Nación. She is featured in the cover of every issue. She had her own fashion doll, and has endorsed two fragances.
Luciana Salazar (Spanish pronunciation: [luˈsjana salaˈsar]; born 7 November 1980, in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a singer, model and actress.
Salazar started her career as a model at the age of four, when she shot her first television commercial. As a teenager, she began to work as a model in Buenos Aires and began to take dancing and singing classes.
Her breakthrough came with her performance on the television show Poné a Francella. In 2003, she realized several journalistic notes for the Argentine television channel America TV and made a controversial appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards Latin America, promoting her image even more. Anthony Santos (born July 21, 1981), known professionally as Romeo Santos, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, featured composer and former lead singer of the Bachata group Aventura. Due to his quick and recent rise to stardom, and his worldwide commercial success both as a member of Aventura and as a solo artist, he is considered by many to be The King of Bachata Music. As a member of Aventura, Santos was a key figure in popularizing Bachata, with hits reaching near the top of the Billboard Latin charts and the top of charts in Europe. In 2002, the band's song "Obsesión" was number one in Italy for sixteen consecutive weeks. After releasing several albums with Aventura, the group went its separate ways. Since then, Romeo has embarked on a solo career which in three years has spawned seven number one songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart and eight number ones on the Tropical Songs chart.
Santos was born on July 21, 1981, in The Bronx, New York City, to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. He had a humble upbringing, with his father working construction and his mother staying at home to take care of the family. He joined his church’s choir at age 12. At the same time, he developed a great passion for bachata music (a typical Dominican style with great draw among the working class), long before it became popular around the world, when he was 15.
Antonio Gasalla (born March 9, 1941) is an Argentine actor, comedian, and theatre director.
Antonio Gasalla was born in Ramos Mejía, a western suburb of Buenos Aires, in 1941. He enrolled at the National Dramatic Arts Conservatory, and began his work in Buenos Aires' vibrant theatre scene in 1964 as an understudy, by which he befriended a colleague, Uruguayan émigré Carlos Perciavalle. He and Perciavalle starred in their production of María Inés Quesada's Help Valentino! (1966), which they performed as a café-concert; this genre was popular in Argentina at the time, and the Gasalla-Perciavalle duo became among its best known exponents.
They accepted roles in film productions of Un viaje de locos (Madmen's Journey) and Clínica con música (Musical Clinic) in 1974. Though known for their comedy roles, they were also cast in 1974 by Sergio Renán for La tregua (The Truce), the first Argentine film nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. The duo parted ways subsequently, and Gasalla was cast in a comic role in Tiro al aire (Shot in the Dark), a 1980 family film starring Héctor Alterio.
